Det servicemindede personale, den lækre pool og de dejlige værelser. Morgenmaden ved søen var også god. Vi kunne låne cykler gratis men brugte det kun en gang da vi kunne gå til alt det vi ville i byen.

Dejligt rent værelse med god seng og hyggelig altan. Morgenmaden var god og poolen var ren. Rigtig god beliggenhed, i gåafstand til byen, men alligevel væk fra larmen. Ville helt klart komme tilbage her! Stor anbefaling

Hos NamKhan Horses Stables i Luang Prabang er der bjergudsigt, en have, en terrasse, en restaurant og grillfaciliteter. Der er et fuldt udstyret fælles badeværelse med bruser og gratis toiletartikler.... It had a really Nice atmosphere. We felt very welcome, the staff was really Nice and the kitchen lady made really great food!!

If I had only tried a few hostels, you might think this is just another average review but I’ve been traveling the world for years and stayed in hundreds of hostels and this one, truly stands out. It’s not about being fancy or full of luxury. The facilities are simple, clean, and practical. Exactly what you’d expect for the price. But what makes this place extraordinary is the hospitality, warmth, and genuine care that the team puts into everything they do. Even the small moments show it. One evening at dinner, my plate came with mashed potatoes (which I don’t like). I asked for an empty plate just to separate the food, and while I thought the request had been forgotten, a staff member came back minutes later with a fresh serving of hot rice made just for me! Completely unasked for. That’s the level of thoughtfulness they put into their guests. And then there’s the magic of their special dinners. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday they cook something unique… a different dish every time, prepared with love and served not because they have to, but because they want us to connect, share, and feel at home. They don’t even eat with us; it’s all about creating a space where travelers can gather and build friendships. It’s rare to find a hostel with this much heart and soul. Honestly, it feels less like a hostel and more like a family. The only downside? It’s becoming harder to find a bed because everyone wants to stay here! So if you see availability, don’t hesitate! BOOK it now hehe

La Casa De Jardin ligger i Luang Prabang, 1,5 km fra Mount Phousi, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og gratis privat parkering. One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Felt like home. Cyren is the most wonderful host. They have family dinner every Mon, Wed, Fri where they invite everyone for a homecooked veg dinner on the house. Got to meet so many lovely travellers from all over the world at this hostel. Free breakfast every morning, also delicious. Cyren cooks something different every morning and super tasty.

It’s a lovely property run by a couple the whole place is very quiet and feels like you’re just staying at your own parents house. They were both lovely the gentleman helped me with my transportation booking and gave me useful tips for Laos and the lady make sure I had local breakfast every morning before my tours!! They were all delicious and filling! It’s a bit of a walk to the night market surroundings but I actually liked how it was on an ally street away from the main road. There’s everything you could need around and great coffee shops. I felt quite safe as a solo female traveler.

Set in the centre of AVANI Luang Prabang, AVANI Luang Prabang boasts a central garden and a 25-metre long swimming pool. This is a relatively new hotel and everything is well thought out and comfortable. The room was big and bright. The pool is enormous with plenty of seating around it. The location is very convenient for the town as it’s right on the doorstep. Breakfast was fabulous. The staff are helpful and polite. It has a great gym but unfortunately we didn’t have the time to use it.
