We had an amazing time here! This was one of our favorite stays in Morocco. The location was fantastic, with a stunning rooftop terrace overlooking Chefchaouen. The breakfast was delicious, and Khalid was incredibly responsive—he provided clear directions, parking guidance, and great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it!

Our stay at Dar Sbaa was amazing - Elsa was super welcoming and helpful. She really cared about small details to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The space is thoughtfully arranged and well designed. For example, there even was a hot water bottle. The terrace is beautiful and relaxing. The check-in and check-out were flexible and very easy. We really had the whole house to ourselves, we enjoyed having the privacy and being able to relax. Thank you Elsa :)

The place is very charming, perfectly located near the old medina (blue city). The owner was very nice and informative and the breakfast was very good, on the rooftop terrace. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it truly. True gem.

This is one of the best properties we have stayed at. It comfortably hosts 4 persons in a two bedroom set up. The Riad (house) is beautiful, very clean and cozy. Well located within the Medina in this beautiful town. The host is exceptional, coming early in the morning to make breakfast for us because we had an early day of travel.

Dar Aldea is set in Chefchaouene, 4.2 km from Mnt, J. Tissouka. Featuring a terrace, this property is situated a short distance from Outa El Hammam Square and Mohammed 5 Square. Beautiful place. Incredible breakfast. Wonderful terrace overlooking the city. In the picturesque part of the old city.

Most amazing boutique hotel I’ve stayed at - it’s a labor of love with so much character. Book ahead as there are limited rooms available! Note this used to be a hostel many years ago but was completely revamped about a year or so ago into a beautiful boutique hotel. Decor: The coolest and most thoughtful place. Trust me when I say this place is a work of art! Everything is tastefully done. Service: Ossama was incredibly kind and helped us feel welcome. He also reached out prior to our stay to see if we needed any help - he is able to arrange private transfer between cities if needed for very reasonable rates, though I ended up opting for a group minivan. Food: Breakfast is also included and delicious. Four types of bread, sunny side up eggs, tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, cheese spread and various jams (fig, strawberry, mandarin). Had all the beverages - Pineapple juice, coffee, and the classic Moroccan mint tea. What an amazing breakfast spread! Location: It is in the heart of the blue city - only about 5 minutes walk from the iconic blue steps, though honestly, beautiful spots right outside the door step and everywhere you turn. Many shops nearby selling clothes, water, snacks, souvenirs; restaurants; etc. Very convenient. I’d recommend Restaurant Bab Ssour nearby for a sit down meal; Sandwich Chez Aziz nearby for a quick fast food bite; and Snack Touichar for a very authentic local fast food experience if you’re wandering towards the “new city” or headed towards the grand taxi station or CTM bus station. Many shops with fresh orange juice for 15-20 MAD. Accessibility: Note that the hotel is not directly accessible by car - it’s about a nearby 4 minute walk from the main road to the medina where the hotel is located. The rooms were located on the second floor so there is one level of stairs to climb up and the Medina/main blue city area has stairs leading up. No issues for the average person but not suitable for people who cannot walk up and down stairs.
