This place is really a home stay and not a hostel, which was a pleasant surprise for me. I had tremendous fun jumping and swimming down Somoto Canyon with Juan on his tour. Delicious (and inexpensive!) meals by his wife. I extended my stay an extra night it was so pleasant. Cool air in the evenings, and warm during the day. Far enough off the highway to barely hear the trucks going by. Great WiFi to watch Netflix. What a wonderful introduction to Nicaragua this was!

The apartment is spacious, clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. Nice functional kitchen. Located at the edge of town in a quiet neighbourhood a short walk from the center. Secure gated and covered parking for our motorcycles. It's a good location for trips to the Somoto Canyon. Sandra the host was happy to help us organise an amazing day in the canyon, where we got picked up in the morning and dropped up in the afternoon at the apartment. More than anything it was Sandra that made our stay truly amazing. She is an amazing woman and a fantastic host.
