We cannot recommend this cabin enough- it’s in the most idyllic setting by a river. It is excellently equipped with- we cooked a full roast dinner for New Year’s Day. It’s cosy and warm. We stayed in polar winter and saw the aurora every night - even from the decking. We built campfires with the kids with cheap wood bought from the owner and had them in one of their fire pits. We went on excursions to see reindeer, go snow shoe walking (self hired with maps at Skibotn hotel) , went on a snowmobile trip and a dog sled trip. All these trips happen in Skibotn valley - many people travel daily from Tromsø here to do these activities - staying here meant we could spend more time enjoying ourselves rather than travelling Absolutely 5 star experience which I would recommend

The flat was so cozy and spacious, we loved the big windows and kitchen. Plenty of space to store some clothes and great parking. Also the location was perfect. We didnt even need to book a Northern Light Tour, since we found them right around the corner of the flat. The hosts are super friendly, helpful and respond very fast.

We really appreciated the charging possibility for our electric car. The kids absolutely loved the place, and the host was very nice and polite — thank you for a great stay!
