I felt so peaceful and relaxed at this place. they have great food options, lots of nice places to sit and watch the river and an adorable puppy. The owners are so lovely too and always happy to help. I booked the jungle walk and the guides they use were super professional and friendly.

Tara's Guesthouse is located a little away from the village of Sauraha - a calm place to really enjoy the atmosphere of the more rural area... and spot some elefants and rhinos on the road walking by ;) A lovely garden, great people and amazing food! Vicki was a great help organizing a jungle walk, an overnight-stay in a tower in the jungle, we went biking and walked around the area. I felt at home and would come back for the food alone - if it wasn't for the amazing people we met - thanks again Vicki for the great few days we had the pleasure of staying with you and your family!

If you want to have a true experience of the Chitwan National Park with the best local guide who is passionate about the jungle and has a ton of knowledge about the wildlife, then this is the best place for you! Bishnu (the owner of the lodge and guide) is truly amazing! He started answering any questions I had even before I arrived at the area. His wife and his kids are truly adorable and they made me feel like being at home. I went with Bishnu in a half day jeep safari and a full day walking (and boat) safari, as well as some other activities like bird watching. Even if we were not lucky enough to see a tiger, we saw many rhinos, deers and monkeys! Bishnu knows every corner of the forest and he was explaining to us every detail and answering any questions we had. While other guides may show you only the basics without putting much effort, Bishnu is trying his best to find the best spots in the jungle so that the guests could have the greatest experience! One day of my 3 days stay, I was the only guest and Bishnu arranged extra activities especially for me so as not to get bored! Last but not least, the food was fresh and homemade, and it was the best food I had in Nepal! These 3 days full of adventure and great hospitality, was the best part of my trip in Nepal and makes me want to visit Nepal and Bishnu again in the future for sure! Hotel Rhino Land-Sauraha Family Home ligger i Sauraha og har udsigt til en have, restaurant, et fælles opholdsområde, bar, have, terrasse og legeplads. - great hospitality and responsiveness - Raj, the owner, is genuinely passionate by the National Park, the area and all the activities offered there - everything arranged on the whim! - real care for the guests, the boys working at the property are super attentive and kind - the space is arranged and kept with care, beautiful garden, you feel like you're in a little jungle <3 - not far from the town center, easily walkable and super safe - very nice spacious room, comfy beds with mosquitiers and of course private bathroom - fair prices on the menu and delicious food 100% reccomend!

Peacock - a family-run hotel ligger i Sauraha, 2 km fra Tharu Cultural Museum, og har en have, en terrasse og gratis privat parkering. Overnatningsstedet har underholdning og roomservice. The friendly atmosphere and the hosts were really welcomnig.Food was really good.

Pemsee's Tree Town - Eco Treehouse Hostel ligger indenfor 4,1 km fra Tharu Cultural Museum og har restaurant, en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse. As birdwatcher I love the location. Next to the river between old trees. I collect 40-50 species of bird in one day just in the radius of this facility I like atmosphere and original acomodation and staff is just great, frendly and professional. .

Green Mansion Jungle Resort ligger i Chitwan, 200 meter fra Elephant Park og Chitwan Nationalpark. Der tilbydes gratis WiFi overalt på ejendommen. Landsbyen Tharu ligger 100 meter fra ejendommen. Wonderful property. Humble and very supportive staff .

Sapana Village Lodge er omgivet af grønne områder og ligger 1 minuts kørsel fra Saurahas centrum. Der tilbydes gratis transport til og fra lodgen. Den skønneste beliggenhed ved floden, med elefanter, fugleliv lige nedenfor. Masser af fine kroge at sidde. Skønt personale som også hjælper med tips, udflugter eller bare et lift… Husk at booke morning walk with elefants og overnatning i tårn inde i selve Chitwan parken. Også rigtig godt at de arbejder med gode sociale projekter, både i forhold til naturbevarelse, børn, uddannelse mm. Har reddet 4 elefanter fra fangeskab.
