Also, the hotel was pet friendly as advertised, located close to a Romero grocery store, and offered an included breakfast that left me feeling ready to take on the day ahead!

The hotel only allows pets in El Palace (Three-Bedroom House) and Villas (Deluxe apartments). Show Pony resort exceeded or expectations during our stay in November. The resort extends from the beach to the mangrove. Beach front there are chairs and lounge chairs in the shade. At the resort itself, there are little apartments around the pool and a cute restaurant. Behind the resort is a mangrove forest with a dock and walkway. I saw monkeys in the walkway. The resort also offers kayak rentals and tours through the estuary. We enjoyed that a lot!
