I had only planned on staying a few days, but ended up being there for over a week and it honestly felt like I was 'home.' This place does not have all the fancy amenities you can find in a hotel, but if you don't care about that nonsense and are only visiting Chacapoyas to see the sites, then I can't recommend this place enough.

The property is has only 3 cottages which adds to the feeling of already large lung spaces lush with greenery. The decor and appointment of the accommodation are authentic, aesthetically pleasing and with a marvellous attention to detail. The food is excellent at all 3 meals and the internet is reliable. The best feature of the property is the family who runs it. Carmen, Francesco, their son Leonardo and their support staff are incredible hosts and guides to the area. Amongst the many highlights is their Sauna perched on top of a hillock with a stunning view of the Cataracts. We will definitely be coming back to stay here and I highly recommend this fantastic property to all travellers, families or otherwise.

Free private parking is available and the hostel also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. Richard was amazing..cooks amazing, very helpful. Very good soul
