The location is amazing, feels like another universe, far away from any hustle and bustle. The beach is huge and romantic and if you take a short walk to the end of it, you can get a great view over Pico Cao Grande. Since there are no restaurants nearby, it’s worth taking dinner at the hotel. I had the most amazing home made food here! Breakfast is simple but nice and there is real coffee! The room was spacious and very clean, there are mosquito nets over each bed.

They continued to help us out weeks after our stay with them! 5 star service and beyond. The place itself is beautiful, well located and well equipped with all sorts of games.

Offering a restaurant, Mucumbli is located in Ponta Figo. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. The accommodation will provide you with a balcony and a seating area. Had a great stay. Was introduced to a fantastic guide (Fernando Bragança) who made my trip very enjoyable and is highly recommended. All Mucumbli staff members I met were super friendly and extremely helpful. The sunsets from the balcony of my room were extraordindary. A short walk leads to the beach and shoreline which is wonderful to explore. The staff were very helpful with my luggage transfer as well and went above and beyond expectations. I'm quite sure I will be back at Mucumbli and am looking forward to it.

Staying at Sonho Non felt like coming home to family right from the moment we arrived, and truly, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We were lucky enough to be there when both João and Helena were around. They are such a fantastic, fun couple and were super helpful with everything we needed. We ended up sharing some fantastic evenings together—that genuine hospitality is something we truly appreciated, and it's why we absolutely know we'll be back when we visit São Tomé again. Their collection of dogs are wonderful, too. They all have their own gentle personalities and provided a lot of evening entertainment just hanging around. If you happen not to be a fan, they are very well-behaved and stay away if told, but honestly, we loved them. The location is lovely, with a beach only a short walk away and a pier where you can fish. The food, though, is also a major highlight. The chef prepares both São Toméan and Portuguese cuisine to an incredibly high standard, and the breakfasts were hands-down the best we had anywhere on the island. As for the cabins, they are spacious and beautifully designed, featuring the comfiest beds we slept in during our entire trip! They are fully screened, which is perfect because you can leave the door open to let in the soothing sounds of the ocean all night—it’s a truly wonderful experience.
