The atmosphere of the lodge is warm and welcoming, and you can really feel the care that goes into maintaining the property. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend Shoki Shoki Lodge to anyone visiting Arusha. We would happily stay again!

I felt completely at home, safe and comfortable. I thought the location was excellent, really close to the city centre and other attractions such as African Art and Culture centre. Because it is set back from the High street, an 8 minute walk, it is peaceful at night. I enjoyed the walk to the main street, it had a village atmosphere with residents greeting you and public transport easily available. The hosts, Innocent and Bryan are so welcoming and share so much information if you want it. Breakfast foods are provided and you make it yourself as and when you want. I went out for lunch and dinner, however takeaways can be delivered. For me, this was the perfect stay. I booked one night, stayed for six and am returning soon. And last but not least, Castro the dog; calm, chilled dog, only interested in sticks. Oh! And I forgot to mention the beautiful, relaxing garden.
