Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge is situated in the Karatu district surrounded by the highlands of Tanzania and the world heritage site namely the Ngorongoro Crater. This place can be called outstanding. The hospitality exceeded our expectations. The villas are spacious and beautiful decorated in tanzanian style. Wooden floors, elegant furniture, comfortable feauteuils, daybeds and huge master bed. From the huge terrace you csn spot even elephants. Pool and Spa are excellent. But over all of this we enjoyed Highlights skilled and Super friendly staff. We will come again. For Sure.

Beautiful well-maintained oasis in the middle of the (also beautiful) arid landscape at the south end of Lake Natron and with a great view towards Ol Doinyo Lengai. Very friendly and extremely helpful staff, and excellent cooks preparing a very tasty breakfast and dinner. Exceptionally well-behaved, quiet, and friendly dogs and cats keep the area free of small critters (and won't bother you, if you're not a cat/dog person) - while security makes you feel very safe inside the lodge area at night. We didn't try the pool, but that is also clearly kept meticulously fresh and clean. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside in one of the couches after dark enjoying the stunning dark sky stars. A short walk from the lake itself.

The guesthouse is a great place to stay if you want to visit Lake Natron. It is situated on a hill which gives it a great view over the surroundings and the lake. The owner was incredibly friendly! He helped us with information about the fees for the national park (Be aware of the gate fee of 35$ and the Tanzanian wildlife management fee of 30$ for every night that you spend there), as well as arranging a bus ticket for us for the way back to Arusha, and he also planned our trip to the Ol Doinyo Lengai Volcano. Even though the guesthouse is still under construction, which is why e.g. the WiFi and the swimming pool were not available yet, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!
