And that's coming from a really picky traveler. We were looking for a night over place on our way north but when we arrived at Rooilande farm we decided immediately to stay an extra night. The area is huuuge, you're driving good 20 min from the main road. Bungalows look brand new, super well designed. Rooms are more than spacious, you get storage area, well equipped kitchen, bathroom with beautiful bathtub with window next to it. The highlight however is a terrace facing the valley. You see nothing else but sky and hills. A zebra occasionally walks in the distance to a water tank. Absolute peace and quiet. There are several animals on the farm almost all of them rescues bunch of horses, ostrich a dog, a cat, few Alpacas. All of it plus exceptional hosts made our stay a divine experience. We wish we could stay there longer.

The staff were amazing. Tracey went that extra step all the time. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She recommended and booked restaurants for us. The breakfast was great. I loved sitting out by the pool. Our room was amazing, spacious and there seemed to be nothing that the lodge had not thought of providing.

I cannot say enough about how welcoming and kind the owners are and how they make you feel special and like family! Located in a perfect spot in Prince Albert with excellent restaurants that are easily walkable. Their delicious breakfasts are all served with fresh homemade bread, just made yogurt and farm eggs straight from the farm. Homemade marmalade too. If you are visiting Prince Albert - this is a perfect spot!
