Room, as well as all the common areas are well maintained. Nice swimming pool. We got there for check in earlier and were allowed to take the keys. Also, it was a Saturday and we were pleasantly surprised by a complementary lunch (feijoada) which was not originally included at reservation. The superb breakfast choice and happy breakfast team were brilliant each morning . The Omelettes they made were delicious ! The swimming pool and characterful/ historic hotel was a great choice , and essential if you are to enjoy the carnival or a peaceful holiday in town , due to it being at the centre of everything !
