It was a pleasure staying at Hotel Savana. The building as such is just beautiful and the rooms are very special with a great view. Great location in a very nice little town. We enjoyed it a lot!!! I lived the old colonial time house, which was transformed into the hotel. Renovation is really well done which preserves the spirit of the building and is very atmospheric. Emmanuel, chef of staff is very friendly and helpful. He also makes great cocktails! Best place to stay in Sao Filipe.

There are no words to describe how we felt at Fogo Boutique Hotel in what now seems to have been an amazing dream in a natural paradise. If Fogo is an island of spirit, of a breathtaking nature, and wonderful people, this hotel is another must in the island. The views are absolutely amazing. Tony made us feel like one of his family, he was really helpful, even showed us the local life, and he is GREAT chef. All the personal was lovely, always willing to help, chat even with our language difficulties, and a special thank to Micaela, who was always more than attent to us. It was one of the greatest stays we had in our lives. The hotel is an experience itself. If we go back to Cabo Verde, we will absolutely repeat here.

Fantastic stay in an old colonial house. Great pool area. Good value, cosy and tasty restaurant. Right in city centre so good starting point to discover Sao Felipe, Fogo volcano and Fogo surroundings.

The location is good, at the edge of a peaceful and friendly village means no noises at night. Also not far from Fogo viewpoint (20min drive). Bus station 30sec walking, supermarket and restaurant 10sec as both are available directly in / at the house. The owner is super friendly and is easily available via booking or WhatsApp. The room is big, with a big comfy bed and enough plugs to charge your stuff. There is a small balcony, and the bathroom has a good shower with hot water. Everything is clean and the WiFi works great. Secured parking is also available. There is a nice terrace with a pool and great views. I really liked my stay here and can totally recommend this place.
