Beautiful B&B in the midst of the Girona Hills. Super friendly staff, they'll go out of their way to make sure you have every thing you need. If you wanna do some serious (or even not so serious!) cycling this is such a good location, right by Mare de Déu del Mont, Rocacorba is fairly close aswell, even Vallter2000 is do-able if you want to go for a big day in the saddle. There's a rumour even the pro's come to this place ;) That being said, even as a non-cyclist you will definitely enjoy your stay here, it's simply beautiful! Very secluded, if you want peace and quiet, you will find it here! The food was delicious and healthy, I only had one dinner and breakfast but I can safely say these people only serve high quality food.

Where to start. Everything was wonderful! The location is at a lovely, beautiful Spanish village, where you can come home to relax after sightseeing the village itself or many other lovely places in the area/nearby (close by other lovely towns as Banyoles, Figueres (Dalí or other museums), Girona, Besalu, Olot and so on + no longer than an hour drive to Port Lligat, Cadaqués (Dalí and beautiful village anyhow), Vic and more). It’s perfectly situated and a perfect place to drive around to see Catalunya and come back to this great home base! The place is big enough and you have all the privacy. Also, there is enough parking space. The house is beautiful from the outside and inside and has so much character: typical Spanish and decorated with beautiful paintings, also of the famous owner Olga! The owners Olga & Llorrens are the most welcoming, kind, friendly and heartwarming persons. They live the Spanish saying: mi casa e su casa. A beautiful couple who made us feel very welcome from the beginning; they brighten up your day! They were also super helpful and gave several advice on where to go, to eat or what to see in the area. The breakfast was made with love everyday. The space was clean and our beds were great; we slept very well. I’ve been in southern Spain with friends and to work, then in Barcelona for work, and then I ended up here to spend some holidays and it was the best ending of my Spanish journey I could wish for. Thank you so much for the great stay! Highly recommended.

A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The unique atmosphere of the house is giving a welcoming and relaxing feeling, while encouraging some interaction with other guests, for example during the shared dinner. The whole place is very beautiful, no details are missed. Huge thanks to the staff who was very kind and made sure I had everything I needed. Even though I could be spending all my time by the pool, I also enjoyed the surrounding areas full of nature and great for hiking and bike rides.

The apartment was extremely clean and was very practical for what we needed. The host and her family are very hospitable, accommodating and friendly. They are very respectful of your privacy and space yet always available for any question or need you may have. There are friendly dogs and cats and cows surrounding the property (worry not! Theres a fence keeping them outside the property garden). The surroundings are breathtaking and the infinity pool to die for. Very quiet location yet easy to drive to nearby destinations.

An amazing apartment. It is comfortable and well-equipped. Everything I needed in the kitchen, comfortable furniture, and beautiful surroundings with outdoor space on both sides of the apartment -- and a swimming pool! I would certainly stay here again the next time I'm in Besalu.

The facilities are new with very cozy atmosphere, a great place to relax with family. A nice swimming pool, not very big but good enough for kids to play or grab a book and lay in the pool side.

Really Beautiful property and amazing, hospitable staff. Went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable experience. Rooms are simple and clean. Not a fancy place but really nice - great beds and super water pressure. Breakfast was a delight and the prices are great! Definitely recommend this location. Lots of space for the kids to run around. Didn’t use the salt pool but hope to the next time.
