Wonderful trip to just relax and get away from it all. Was here for 3 days, 2 nights and feel like it wasn't enough. The food was amazing with picturesque views, the room and bed was so comfortable, and the staff were all so incredibly kind and helpful! Special mention for the spa, so fantastic we went all 3 days! Also recommend going to their sunrise resto on top of a hill for the great views.

Magic place surrounded by nature and rice fields, the best solution for visit Borobudur temple and take a break from the caos of the city. Beautiful swimming pool and Javanese bungalows, Bobby is so funny and do his best to make you feel relaxed and at home. Breakfast super and tour organized by Bobby among rice fields with local people was the best experience we had!

From the beautiful and convenient location, to the politeness of the staff, to the amazing level of comfort and delicious meals, I completely recommend this resort!🏆 I wish I could have stayed there much longer! What an amazing hotel is this. The service was amazing. And so is the view over the hills of Borobudur. I read about the poor breakfast so I was a little worried. I don’t know how people think the breakfast was simple and poor. Everything was freshly made, typical Indonesian and a lot of choice and variety. If you don’t like this type of food consider stay at home with your scrambled eggs and burgers you culture barbarian :)

    Very close to the templegrounds. Nice swimming pool right next to the rooms which is heavenly refreshing after facing the burning heat of borobudur. Breakfast was a choice between indonesian or international food, fresh fruits and a glass of juice and coffee/tea.

    Pleasant room, comfortable bathroom, nice view on the swimming pool and vegetation. The welcome drink and massage. The support of the staff to schedule activities. We really enjoyed the time making Jamu with our lovely teacher. The strong massages were appreciated. We enjoyed dinner at the lounge terrace. And we completely loved the bike tout of surroundings on the monday morning: a great memory as the Jamu lesson. We saw beautiful fields, crossed lively villages with kids in the school courts and drank coconut water along the way.

    Location was near Borobudur temple.Private swimming pool was best for family.The owner was so kind and feels like home .All the staffs were very kind,respect and helpful. We love all their services.Arranged transport to do tour as we were very convenience as we have child. They upgraded us to bigger room as well. The breakfast is good and the food we ordered was delicious.Thank you to everyone and we will come back again.

    A nice room design. Large swimming pool, so many vegetation makes the hotel feels like colder in hot and humid Magelang. there is also a private carnival for kids. located just a couples km from Borobudur, Punthuk Setumbu can be reached within 6 minutes driving.
