The most amazing stay highly recommended!* ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed at *Doppel Gangs* in Arugam Bay and had the most unforgettable experience. The hotel is in the *perfect location* close enough to the main road (just a 1-minute walk!) to access everything easily, but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet without the crowds and noise. The hotel is *by far the cleanest* I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka, with daily housekeeping that keeps everything fresh. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. There’s also a *really nice pool*, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. But what truly made this stay exceptional was the *incredible staff*, especially *Hibed*. We were a group of 8 girls and one boy, and from the moment we arrived, Hibed went *above and beyond* to make us feel safe, welcomed, and cared for. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and attentiveness were beyond anything we expected. He was always there to help whether it was organizing *tuk tuk rides* at *any time, to any place, with any notice*, fixing a ripped pair of pants with a local seamstress, or surprising us with freshly made yogurt. Every little thing he did added to the magic of our stay. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but I’ve *never* encountered a staff that had such a genuine impact on my overall experience. *Thank you, Doppel Gangs, for an incredible stay. We’ll never forget it.* Can't wait to come back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Villa Del Mar is simply wonderful! The owner is truly adorable and extremely accommodating, as is Karim, and the whole staff takes great care of every guest. From the moment you arrive, you feel at home. The meals are excellent, the place is spacious, beautifully decorated, and the rooms are spotless. The hotel is right on the beach and still close to the town center, making it the perfect location. Our stay was unforgettable, and we are very grateful for the warmth and kindness we received here. This is a place not to be missed in Arugam Bay — we highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Thank you so much to the entire Villa Del Mar team for making our trip so special!

So far, by far the best service in Sri Lanka. The staff were amazing, polite, they are professional yet make You feel like You're at home. Service was comparable to a good 5* hotel in Europe. The location is great, with amazing beachside, and the yard is absolutely perfect for relaxing vacation, pictures dont do it justice. The warm welcome and helpfulness of Rifan and staff. The huge room it was extremely clean and well set out. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had hot water, not that you needed it. The wifi worked well as did the aircon. A lovely balcony overlooking the tropical garden and pool which wasn't always sparkling. Great location in the heart of the action and easy walk to the beach across the road.

Absolutely stunning beach front hotel, pool was great with the kids, the chef was incredible - every dish was super tasty. We loved the outdoor chilling area and bean bags. Rooms were very spacious and stunning views of the ocean. And it was so close to the hustle of Arugam Bay!

Hotel is new, clean, quiet and cozy. Rooms are simple but have enough. Pool is clean and perfect after a day of adventuring. Location is perfect, 5 minute walk to main street and great places to eat nearby. Beach close enough also. Tried the Sri Lankan curry offered on menu, we were given three dishes that could feed more than two people. Very nice dishes. Breakfast is ok. Owner helped us with laundry, finding our next ride and also allowed us to use the pool / facilities on day 1 as we arrived early. I would definitely stay here again if i returned.

Beautiful big new rooms. 2 mins walk to the beach and main part of town. We liked that it was set off the main road (main road is a bit party). We had nice views of the town and felt close to the village. Delicious food options. Fantastic host, Mubarak went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic. They easily accommodated us extending our stay for another week. Organised drivers for surf expeditions and had local insight. Big beautiful pool with deck chairs. There was a brand new yoga space with daily classes which was a nice touch. All the staff were welcoming and made us feel at home. We will definitely be returning to Paddyway if returning to A Bay.

we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and provided all the comforts of home. The highlight of our trip was definitely the stunning swimming pools, where we spent hours soaking up the sun and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. The resorts amenities were top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. And the foods were amazing

I had a wonderful stay with my husband, and I would like to give a special thanks to all the friendly hotel staff. The breakfast was delicious with an option for Sri Lankan or English breakfast . The location is great, it’s located near the shops, restaurants and beach. The swimming pool is very big, and really refreshing & relaxing! I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely come back here when we go to Arugam Bay again.

We had a great time in Spice Trail! Excellent location and very helpful staff. Himasha LEO showed us some nice places in the area and told us a lot about Arugam Bay & Sri Lanka. If you are going to Arugam Bay, you can't skip this place! The swimming pool is perfect.
