Our stay at the villa was amazing! We stayed at the villa for 4 nights with our son, the staff were super helpful and kind ,specially Nimal was a super host! He attended us and helped us with anything we asked for and he was super friendly, kind and loving to our son. During our stay we got the whole pool for us as their weren't any other guests at the villa. The rooms and property was exactly as the pictures  and from every angle it was a picture perfect view. The whole property was spotless and super clean and well maintained. Getting a ride around the area was a bit difficult through pick me app but the staff arranged it swiftly for us. This is one of the best and most beautiful properties we have stayed so far, we really loved our stay and we can't wait to be back again.

We enjoyed our stay here a lot! the location is great, in the nature, next to the railways but only 5 min Tuk Tuk drive to bandarawela. the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, at night you can listen to the nature sounds. the staff is very friendly and organised train tickets, Tuk Tuks for us. They welcomed us with tea and two plates of sweets. they prepare very delicious food, do all fresh so sometimes you have to wait a bit, but it’s not a a problem at all in holiday :) we really recommend to stay there!

The view from our room was beautiful! We could see Ella Rock, and Waterfalls right opposite. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The road to the cabin was an adventure by itself as we had our own tuktuk. The staff however offered us tuktuk rides to the main road and back. The breakfast was also very delicious and it was delivered to our room by our request. I highly recommend this accommodation!

This was my second time at Vantage Hills and reason is the absolutely superb view and hospitality. I honestly was looking for an alternative, just to be able to explore a new place, but could not find one with such an unique location. We've stayed in the new cabana, so even closer to the tea terraces. You can just sit on your balcony, sip cup of tea and and watch the beautiful scenery. Sooner or later, you can be sure to spot pickers plucking the tea by hand. If you fancy a walk, you just need to step out of your room and you can roam thru endless tea terraces at your will. The best part of the stay is having breakfast on the large terrace where you can immerse yourself in endless mountain views. You can also visit nearby Kelliebedde Tea Factory for a nice informative tea production tour, and refresh yourself in their lovely Tea Lounge. All in all, I like this place and location for keeping its authenticity. If you miss touristic hustle and bustle, Ella is a short drive from here.

Amazing hostel- everything about it was fantastic! I booked for two nights but ended up staying 11 lol. The host is v friendly, the hostel is a very easy place to relax and its a really nice walk along the railway lines to get to Ella town centre (40mins). Some nice restaurants along the way too (River Face). Socialble hostel, they provide a free breakfast and a cheap dinner (500-700 rupees). Good location for Ella Rock sunrise hike too:)

Everything about this place is AMAZING. Located in the middle of private tea plantation, offers proper privacy and pure joy. Every detail in this place is a high level, from bathroom, comfort of the bed, amenities, insect repellents, softness of towels, ambient light… Any meal you have is a room service and food is stunning. Host and staff are fantastic. They will lead you through every single detail of the property. Highly recommended!!!

Our three-day stay at Walaa Kulu Villas was nothing short of exceptional. The villa itself is stunning — from the breathtaking views over the tea plantation to the beautiful pool, stylish interiors, and peaceful surroundings. It truly has everything you could wish for, and if by any chance you’re missing something, just ask Namal. He and his team took such incredible care of us throughout our stay. The food deserves a special mention: the chef is outstanding. We enjoyed some of the best meals we’ve had in Sri Lanka, all freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The location is fantastic as well — only a 10-minute drive from Ella, with a smooth and easy road leading up. The villa sits above a tea plantation, right next to a tea factory, and we loved spending a morning touring the factory, learning about the tea-making process, and even making our own tea. Overall, we simply didn’t want to leave. Walaa Kulu Villa is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and be looked after by genuinely caring and wonderful people.
