Excellent hotel, wonderful room, decor and ambiance very pleasing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner was superb and well presented, with recommend wine to match. Breakfasts were amazing, a good choice of the finest Sri Lankan favourites.

We spent two nights at Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya and absolutely loved it. The hotel is tucked away in the middle of endless tea fields, and the views are just stunning, it feels like a little world of its own. What made our stay so memorable was the incredible staff. From start to finish, they made us feel so welcome and genuinely cared for, nothing was ever too much trouble. A special thank you to the reception and wait staff, as well as Chef Guiamme, who not only cooked us the most delicious meals but also took the time to share his recipes for Coconut Jam, Dhal, and Onion Sambal. We can’t wait to try them at home and share them with our friends and family. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel extra personal. We were kindly upgraded for our stay and the room was very comfortable and cozy, and we both slept so well and got the perfect recharge after exploring. We also loved the facilities — the heated pool was perfect after a day of adventuring, the mini golf is a nice touch and the walks around Langdale’s estate were peaceful and beautiful. We also used the laundry service which did a truly excellent job and refreshed our belongings for our onward journey. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka, and we’ll look back on it fondly. If you’re looking for warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and truly outstanding service, Langdale is the place to stay.

Floating mountain has 5 well appointed rooms. It is about 20 kms away from Nuwara Eliya so it’s away from the hustle and bustle of a big city. It is was earlier a part of the Glenloch tea estate. Akila the manager is extremely helpful and is always present to make your stay comfortable. Gowri the owner was present when we were there and took us for a guided walk up the mountain. Neat clean cosy rooms. We were looking for a beautiful resort away from the hustle and bustle of the town and nestled in the mountains. The last one km will require a 4 wheel drive vehicle that is provided by the resort. All in all a lovely experience and we will come again.

A sleek, modern design with heartfelt hospitality. We stayed in Apartment 2, a spacious, condo-style unit with stylish interiors, perfect for balancing work and relaxation. The high-speed internet kept my Zoom calls smooth, while the cozy living area was ideal for movie nights with my wife. The buffet, conveniently on our floor, was a treat for the senses. As a vegetarian, I loved the hot butter mushrooms and chop suey, both bursting with flavor. Marrika, the dining manager, ensured every detail was perfect, and the surprise ice cream delivered to our room after dinner added a delightful touch. The sauna, spacious and impeccably maintained, was my daily retreat—a relaxing end to each day. Behind it all was Fahran, the manager, whose meticulous care made every moment seamless, and Paul, whose million-dollar smile and warm charisma made us feel genuinely welcome from the start.

Staff is very friendly, breakfast has many choices, great swimming pool (including pool guy), a large room with a jacuzzi, and great location with view on the mountains. There are many facilities from a swimming pool, to table football and pooling, although these are positioned quite isolated in the building.

One of the best hotels in the world. The most peaceful and beautiful setting. Relaxing, tranquil, quiet and the perfect place to end your day. The staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Delicious food and beautifully presented. Don't let the distance from Nuwala Eliya put you off, it's absolutely worth your stay to enjoy relaxing in the swimming pool and jacuzzi after a long day of sightseeing.

Wow best value for money. We got a personal number of one of the employees and he answered all of our questions in a minute. The food court was unbelievable and rich, the stuff was amazing. There is an indoor swimming pool and a kids area - just perfect. We would love to recommend it to anyone.

The grounds, building and views are amazing! The indoor swimming pool was serene - perfect temperature and enjoyed stunning viewing outside. The staff are incredibly attentive and they made it extra special for my mum’s 60th birthday. They made a lovely birthday cake and surprised us at dinner which was special. The buffet was very good, lots of choice and quality of food was excellent! Would 100% recommend if you are stopping by Nuwara Eliya as it’s their perfect stop over hotel :)
