The location at Playa Gigante is a well kept secret, it is close enough but away from more crowded locations to the south and to the north. The people at Gigante are working fishermen mostly with huge smiles, and willing to go out of their way to help. Smiles and greetings guaranteed as they pass you by. No exceptions. Wow. The hotel, is a small operation run by its owner and loyal staff, always on premises. Very secure, very clean, very attractive and representative of the area. I would not consider booking anywhere else when I decide to return, which I most certainly will.

The swimming pool is very nice and super clean. The owner is very helpful to guide us where are the surfing spots, eating out, etc. It is a nice spot! Excellent value!

For the price its a luxury experience siutated close to the beach. The staff is super friendly and helped us with all of our requests! The food, including breakfast, was also good! I highly recommend this place if you want luxury at good price! Also close drive to the very popular surf beach of playa maderas. Hoghly recommend to eat at Doña chilo right down the road with the sweetest lady!

The accommodation is very clean and up to date. It's a little outside the city (15 minutes on foot), but that also means more peace and quiet. A large swimming pool allows you to cool off at the end of the day. There is a bit of a lack of kitchen equipment to cook adequately.

We felt totally safe and enjoyed that it was a 4-5 minute walk to Playa Marsella. Playa Maderas was an 8 - 10 minute motorcycle ride and there were 3 or 4 more restaurants to choose from as well as options for surf board rentals and lessons.
