Hotels with Pools in Stryn

first of all the scenery is breath taking even in Norwegian standards. But more than that- during our visit we were hosted in more than 10 locations and this was unanimously agreed to be the best place. really up there with international standards. extremely clean, the furniture and appliances are top of the line and new. a plus- the washing machine also serves as a dryer (most places don't have this and problematic for one night stays). none of this business (that is apparently very common in Sweden and Norway) for an extra fee if you want linen and towels! in this place it is part of the service and the bedding and towels were superb. the interior design is very pleasing. you can tell that a lot of thought and care was put in to every aspect. for example if a place advertises it can sleep 6 some places don't provide enough chairs and space to seat everybody at the dining area - not the case here! it was the only place we experienced that offered an instant coffee machine with complimentary capsules. This is a standard courtesy now in hotel rooms in my country but apparently not yet in Norway. a small effort that gave us great pleasure.

The facilities are amazing and the staff are delightful. We loved being here for 4 days as we got to use everything. The pool and spa are so lovely after hiking all day. The gym is nice and clean with good quality equipment. Loen is a fantastic destination, so much to see and do. The Fjord and the lake are stunning and it was all easily accessible from Hotel Alexandra. We will definitely be back.
