I absolutely loved my stay at the Fundo San José. The man who welcomed me was absolutely lovely and went out of the way to show me around and help me in any possible way to make my stay comfortable. He also spoke perfect English, which made it even easier for me. The room was comfy and had an incredible view over the entire city and the jungle valley La Merced is located in. The breakfast was great, too, with a great variety of local fruits and tasty Tamale.

The host was very helpful and lovely. He spoke enough English to guide me around and help me with everything i could possibly need. I was also upgraded to a larger villa, which was a nice surprise. The whole ressort looks brand new and very upscale and certainly exceeded my expectations. The food was all fresh, local and very tasty. A great experience and a hotel I will definitely recommend and hopefully re-visit.

I really appreciate the way how everything was cared for in this place. The animals are so kind and followed me to the swimming pool; I felt like I was in good company. The quality of the breakfast was high: good quality and well-presented. The location was great, far from noisy streets, and I had a good rest. The garden and all areas of the finca are so well maintained, like an oasis. This is definitely one of the best places I've stayed at through booking.
