breakfast was delicious! Also, the room was beautiful and had an amazing view. We had dinner at the restaurant and the snack bar and it was perfect. The staff was so great and made us feel really great and we felt that they took care of us.

The location is stunning. The house is very comfortable, with views over looking the river. There is a great view from the main bedroom and it's a big spacious room. The 2nd bedroom is smaller with 2 small single beds. The kitchen has all the equipment you'd need. The garden is really lovely, plenty of space with beautiful views. The pool is small, but nice for cool dips. We were in the uppermost of the 2 villas and it was very private. The drive is shared but was not an issue as there is plenty of parking space.

    Casa do Ribeirinho Amarante 1 night Access to hotel on pedestrian Street (reception doesn't open till 3pm) left car in small hotel car park as arrived early. Check in very straight forward. Room and bathroom small but very clean, small bed, all good. Breakfast was good. The hotel features antique pieces of furniture. There is a small outdoor swimming pool. Hotel is very central, close to Cathedral, shops and restaurants.

    a great place to relax. There is a kitchen along with a living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom. there is a swimming pool outside with sun loungers and an umbrella. The owner is a very nice and pleasant man. He will always help and advise. All at the highest level. I always want to return to a place like this.

    Clean new spaces with country charm setting, swimming pool and close to Amarante. The people were excellent for service, information and activities. We tried and enjoyed the craft beer, berries and the great breakfasts. It would make a good home base while visiting the Guimarães, Duoro etc. areas. Day trips to Porto are easy.
