This stay is beyond five stars. The place itself is amazing. The attention to detail and the dedication of the team is superb. Ana's greeting and tips were special, and it made our stay memorable. We were given an amazingly prepared breakfast with eggs from their own chickens (whom we were introduced to) fresh apples , and juice from their own garden also fresh local produce and some tasty cheeses! We wanted to use the sauna super late in the evening and Ana was very accomodating to our request, also the sauna worked very well. If you're close to Covilha, you can't miss this unforgettable experience from start to finish. We will definitely return!

Everything! Fantastic location (what a view!), lovely hosts, delicious swimming pool. The house was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Armando and Américo showed us around the property and made us feel right at home, gave us great breakfast and good tips on the surroundings. It was really hard to leave, we want to go back!

Beautifully restored building; wonderful staff; gorgeous room; lovely swimming pool; perfect breakfast. Plus love the fact that Covilha is a 'swifts' town and the air was full of these beautiful birds :-)

Liked everything, we always stay at Puralã when in Covilhã, such an excellent hotel, convenient for the City but not too close . Excellent indoor pool for the cooler months, very nice outdoor pool for the long Portuguese summers 🥰

I had an amazing stay at Dona Maria. The bedroom was really clean, spacious with a very large and cozy bed. The hotel in general was meticulously clean, with a great spa area and one of the nicest indoor swimming pools I've been in Portugal. Breakfast was also very good, with a lot of nice options. Spacious parking lot and a great location. I'm definitely coming back.

modern hotel, good ensuite with walk in shower, comfortable large bed. Hotel has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and gym facilities. Water temperature for indoor pool was 31c during our stay - very agreeable! Restaurant served a buffet type meal on the Sunday of our stay. Good choice of food and very reasonably priced at €19 per head. Staff helpful and friendly, particularly the restaurant waiters and bar staff.
