The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything you expect with friendly staff, clean and ample parking; but with so many other things which put it above the rest. The botanical gardens attached are beautiful, the use of the thermal pool to cap off your evening is magical and the food from either of the two restaurants is exceptional. Highly recommend.

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe.

Our hosts were wonderful and reached out in advance to confirm our arrival details so that they could meet us in person. Breakfast was amazing and delivered to our door each morning, including delicious homemade banana bread! The location was stunning and close to everything we wanted to see and do in Sao Miguel. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and private. This is a very special place and we highly recommend! Thank you to Crispim and Cristina. We hope to come back!!

The location is well isolated. The room and facilities are clean. They upgraded my room for free so I was really happy with my stay. I did not use the pool cause of bad weather so cannot comment on it. The view is beautiful

This place was fantastic. You can feel very welcome and comfortable immediately. The staff was very friendly and treated us like we were guests in their house. We had a couple of special requests, and they were always very helpful. The breakfast was very nice, prepared with fresh products. The room was spacious and top-notch clean, and the mattress was amazingly comfortable. The location is super nice, walking distance to the beach and marina. We definitely loved our stay and would like to come back one day!
