Most friendly people & staff which Dinther utmost best to make you feel welcome. We stayed in a tent, which was perfect. Property located at a remote spot with an astonishing view! Perfect holiday with kids. 2x large swimming pools in main area, which were just perfect for young(er) kids as well, as their entry is rather shallow, slowly gradually getting more deep, making it also suitable for adults. We loved it!

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying in Encontro no Rio. From the moment we arrived, the owners, David, Daniela and the kids welcomed us with open arms, making us feel like part of their family. Their warmth and kindness truly made the experience special. The farmhouse was a gem! The stunning view of the river took our breath away every single day. The pool was an excellent addition, and we spent many enjoyable hours relaxing and splashing around in the water. The animals on the property were an absolute delight. It was heartwarming to see how well they were cared for and how friendly they were with all the guests. The highlight of our stay was definitely the horseback ride with "Cavalos no Rio Mondego." Exploring the beautiful surroundings on horseback was an unforgettable experience. The horses were well-trained, and the guides were knowledgeable, ensuring we had a safe and thrilling ride. We genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay, and we are already looking forward to coming back! Thank you, David and Daniela, for providing us with such an unforgettable experience. Very nice and beautiful place in the heart of the country side of Portugal. The app is very big and it has everything you need. The weather was a little bit capricious and when we arrived the heater was already waiting for us. Breakfast is simple but delicious with a touch of hosts homemade muffins, croissants, cakes, marmelade,... Fabiene is very nice and even though she doesn't speak english, she is always willing to help. We really felt like at home. If we are ever coming back to Portugal, we are definetly coming back to Fabiene's.

The house is super cozy yet spacious, and very well equipped with the overall amenities you need. The fact that the pool is exclusively for us and heated is definitely great, as well as all the kids’ and family entertainment gear — bouncer, quadbikes, pétanque, swings, board games, you name it… The bedrooms are great, warmly decorated & comfortable, the living room is really spacious, and the 3 couches are super cozy. The fridge is also large enough to accommodate big family’s meals. Barbecue is a must, and having a dishwasher is definitely a game changer when you’re in vacation. Two main supermarkets are less than a 10min drive away, so we could easily get whatever we wanted. Mack was a really fun guy to talk to and exchange some ideas, he was welcoming while also respectful of our privacy. Thanks for everything!
