This place is absolutely heaven on earth! The rooms are very clean and the view is just stunning! Hotel staff is extremely friendly and help whenever they can! The place in general is very quiet. As its a little outside you'll need a scooter to get to the beach, pier or shops. Definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely exceptional stay, staff are all friendly and very helpful. The views were amazing. You could see Koh Nang Yuan from our balcony. We ordered food to our room as the villas are up a steep hill. Could order different food and drinks if you didn't want to leave. Would 100% stay here again.

From the moment we arrived at Woodlawn Villas, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality by Sunny and the wonderful team – complete with refreshing welcome drinks. We booked a garden villa for ourselves and a room in the main building for our kids. The villa was originally equipped for two, but the staff quickly provided extra kitchenware so our whole family could enjoy it together – without even needing to ask twice! Every detail was taken care of with thoughtfulness. Laundry was easily handled at reception, billed to our room, and returned smelling absolutely heavenly. We also rented scooters directly from the resort – again, seamlessly charged to our account. So convenient! One of the most touching moments was when we asked if they happened to have a specific building block game. To our surprise, they went all the way into town to buy one and surprised us with it! That level of care and kindness is rare. The free shuttle service to and from the pier, beaches, and town made getting around effortless. The swimming pool was fantastic – peaceful, clean, and shaded by umbrellas – and the staff always eager to help with anything we needed. Each morning, we woke to the soothing sound of birdsong in the tranquil surroundings – it truly felt like paradise. And on the day we left, I was brought to tears by a beautiful thank-you card and a handcrafted shell necklace gifted by reception. Such a meaningful gesture! Our stay at Woodlawn Villas was filled with unforgettable family moments, heartfelt kindness, and unmatched hospitality. Thank you, Woodlawn, for making our time on Koh Tao so magical. We will absolutely be back soon!

I spent four nights at The Place Luxury Boutique Villas in Koh Tao, managed by Guy, and it was truly exceptional. The villas are beautifully designed, each with a private pool—offering absolute comfort and tranquility in the heart of nature, yet just minutes away from vibrant Sairee Beach. Guy has mastered the art of hospitality: he is always available to answer every question and provide recommendations, yet gives his guests total peace and privacy. He strikes the perfect balance between attentive service and discreet presence. I was particularly impressed by the property’s commitment to environmental protection, featuring waste sorting and filtered water provided in every villa. Food delivery menus are conveniently available, and Guy can arrange excellent local taxi services as well. I will definitely return for another stay at this wonderful place!

First and foremost a fantastic host in Muhammad and our driver Steve. Always on the offer side if we wanted a service in the form of ordering, for example, a taxi boat etc. The villa (Gardenia Villa) has an absolutely unique location and view, and the surrounding nature is absolutely beautiful. Monkey Flower gives you a separate phone, where both can be reached very quickly. Steve was a very pleasant, kind and service minded man, who drove us wherever we wanted at any time. Big plus for him! The villa was as expected if not better, and the cleanliness was absolutely excellent every day. The road up to the villa is somewhat steep, and may seem scary to some, but Steve was such a fantastic driver that after a few days we didn't think anything of it. We would love to come back, and would recommend this place to everyone!

Location was great. Right on beach, 5 minute walk to Mae Head Pier so easy to get to when you get off ferry. 10 minute walk to Sairee Beach with lots of shops, bars and great places to eat. Room was basic but had everything you need. Balcony so you relax with a cup of tea in a bit of shade, kettle in the room. Air conditioning in the room was very good. Room cleaned daily, water provided each day and fresh towels as needed. Great shower and wet room. Swimming pool was great

The swimming pool and the villas on the seaside are beautiful. The standard villa not at all. They face cement and tubes.

Unobtrusive and friendly staff, beautifully maintained gardens and swimming pools. The room was comfy too and included a mini bar, safe and TV. The resort feels like a mini village and the place feels well organized. There are shops, restaurants and massage places within 5 mins walk nearby. Our room was cleaned daily. A nice extra touch was the canvas bag and plastic free bag which we used all the time for carrying our stuff. We stayed in the Plantation building which has a big swimming pool inside. Loved it!

Really lovely hotel with amazing views from balcony. Stunning swimming pool. Great location to explore island with moped, 5 min ride from Tanote Bay. Staff also very helpful with recommendations + borrowing of snorkeling equipment. 180 Baht Aperol Spritz at happy hour is hard to beat.

Amazing location. Comfiest bed I've slept on in Thailand. Staff was very nice and spoke amazing English. Great bathroom/shower. Lovely balcony. The pool was awesome, with a swim-up bar. Perfect beach setting for sunset views. The area is close to everything you could need in Koh Tao; we didn't need a taxi to go anywhere and the resort provides free shuttle to and from the pier. It wasn't very loud at all, other than a distant bass from music which would go away by around midnight (which was easy to sleep through anyways).
