The hotel is very good, small, so cozy. For breakfast you can choose 5-6 dishes from the menu, for example, something like full English, spring roll, pancakes, etc. There are also cereals, yogurt, croissants, jams, etc. You can take extra vegetables and fruits. Good coffee. I really liked the opportunity to go swimming right from the villa, literally a few steps. But I recommend taking swimming shoes, because there are stones. The beach is quiet, peaceful, if you want more people, you have to walk 15-20 minutes to the main street.

Contact with Bee was fantastic, arranged pick up from the pier for us so we had a smooth and welcoming arrival to the resort along with their speciality elixir health drink! All the staff were friendly and helpful, the food and drinks served from the cafe were delicious. The pool was outstanding and the bungalows were beautiful, kept clean and tidy daily and restocked with water. The location is stunning with a small beach great for snorkelling and kayaking and a pier with a swing at the end to watch the most amazing sunsets over this truly beautiful island. We didn’t want to leave!!

the whole vibe! as if you entered a heaven of tranquility. It doesn’t do justice that they have low reviews. the staff is so helpful and friendly, pool and bungalows nice. and location, wow! the island is so small you can drive to any location in 10-15 minutes. it was a bliss staying here. also highly recommended the Thai massage!

Koh Mak Resort is located in Ao Suan Yai on the west side of Koh Mak. Some bungalows are located along the private white sandy beach.

Makathanee was a great place to stay at Koh Mak. We came directly to the pier from Koh Chang, got into the spacious bungalow quickly and enjoyed our time here with an amazing view to the ocean. Close by shops, restaurants and massages (walking distance only minutes). Hotel booked a snorkeling trip for us with only 6 guests which was great. Also nice private beach, also to go for longer walks in both directions. However, a scooter rental is helpful to see also other areas of the island.

The location is perfect, short walk to beaches and to the village. Hotel is quiet and clean and beautiful. Loved the breakfast, small changes daily. Lady who runs the hotel is a treasure!! She can answer all your questions and solve all your problems:)
