Very nice experience. The cabins were not difficult to find and remote enough to have privacy and some quiet. There were towels, indoor bathroom/shower, coffee facilities, and basic cooking supplies in the room which was nice. They even had a microwave and fridge. I was given the choice between a volcano or town view, and I chose the volcano. They had a small parking lot and good breakfast at whatever time you ask for - traditional Costa Rican breakfast. You can pay by card at the property. There were a few short 1km trails, a pool, and a playground available, which would be nice when it's warmer. The host was friendly and each cabin had WiFi, although some of it was a little unstable. I still had 4G data connection, which made it a very nice stay! About 40 min drive to Turrialba. I spoke Spanish with the host - unsure of her English ability.

Large, super-clean room with a balcony and the amazing views. Well equipped bar and restaurant- great dinner and breakfast. Wished we could have stayed another day.

This place was so amazing Rustic, simple and off the grid high up the a cloud forest cool temperature where no AC or fan’s are required. The staff, the food and the location were beyond my expectations! I was treated like a VIP everyday! Crystal and Joel who help manage the place were so helpful so thoughtful and so wonderful to talk to and both were very glad to also help me with my Spanish . Muchas gracias !😁 Both went above and beyond! Btw they grow and serve they own coffee too! Amazing! The bar/ restaurant is excellent too! Danny and Marlon who cooked all my wonderful delicious meals were the best! We shared a few recipes and they were consistently trying to make me extra happy everyday with delicious meals, Marlon’s burgers ( Hugh and yummy) and Danny’s fajitas , breakfasts , extra fresh fruit too and he stepped out of his comfort zone and made me French toast! Totally delicious and delightful! The solitude and the tranquility here is bar none It was exactly what I needed to start my journey here in CR 100% Pura Vida, And will be the best part of my 2 months visiting CR!

Offering a year-round outdoor pool, children's playground and sun terrace, Casa Turire recalls an antique hacienda home located in the heart of the verdant Turrialba agricultural regions. We love coming to Casa Turire - whether it's for lunch, overnight, or coffee and the amazing desserts (the Sugar Cane Elado is incredible and an original by the chef!). The building has lots of areas to explore, relax, read from, or work from, and our room had a balcony which was gorgeous in the morning. The grounds are gorgeous with trails and beautiful views. The staff were fantastic, and I booked in for a massage which was heavenly, too.
