Excellent accommodation set off the road in beautiful grounds amongst tropical trees, plants and the amazing howler monkeys. It was so much better than I expected and also close to the small town within walking distance via a pathway, about 10 minutes walk. I think we saw more wildlife in this area than other places we visited such as Fortuna which is on the recommended tourist trial. You feel like you are in your own little tropical rain forest and rooms are not overlooked . All facilities around the pool are also great.

I would give this guesthouse 7 stars if that were possible. The staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. The grounds are a tropical paradise full of birds, butterflies & other wildlife. The rooms are clean & comfortable surrounded by the beautiful gardens.

The bungalows are very private and have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a kitchenette, a private bathroom, and a porch with a hammock. The pool is a great place to cool off after a day of exploring, and the breakfast is delicious and includes fresh fruit from the garden, eggs, and coffee. The owners of La Rana de Cahuita are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with various tropical plants and animals. The location is excellent, close to the beach and the Cahuita National Park.

We felt fortunate to spend time relaxing at this special property! The beautiful gardens and pathways, listening to the waves, the comfortable seating in the common area looking over the natural pool. We appreciated the interesting details throughout-the use of nature’s treasures, and the time spent creating this wonderful atmosphere. Our room was comfortable. We slept great! It was nice to use the kitchen. A great place with great hosts!

Oceanfront Hotel La Diosa ligger i Cahuita, 10 minutters kørsel fra nationalparken og blot 3 minutters gang fra den største strand i området Playa Grande. Beautiful Swimming pool and garden. Very friendly staff. Room spacious and nice. Bed comfi. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night! Walk is an option…max 30 min to center. Or 3000 taxi. Snorkeling tour an walk in Cuahita was nice!

Hotel El Colibri Rojo - Cabinas - Le Colibri Rouge er et Bed & Breakfast-hotel, som ligger 3 km fra Cahuita centrum. Nationalparken Cahuita ligger 300 meter derfra. En dejlig lejlighed, størrelsesmæssigt og der var hvad en familie på 5 skulle bruge. Skønt med en smuk overdækket terrasse. Der var meget støj fra hovedvejen, som gik lige forbi. Alting i køkkenet var lidt klistrede og der manglede en grundig rengøring i hjørner og bag døre.
