Last year we stayed in Janske Lazne and cycled past the "Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou", and we said, next time we come to Pec we have to stay there. And we just stayed there, as a family of four and our dog. What do we love about it ? The location is magnificent, it is on the plateau at the top of the mountain, you feel like you are on top of the world, it is a recently built mountain chalet, and done in a beautiful style, we had the half board and the breakfast and evening meal were absolutely perfect. The hotel is run by the owner who is very friendly and very helpful with local knowledge, where to hike, where to stop for lunch. In the evening you have beautiful sunsets with views which stretch for tens of miles, at night there is a quietness which cannot be matched. We need to explore Pec more, and we will be staying here again next time and using it as our base. What more to say, Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou is a gem, enjoy it.

Located just 26 km from The Grandmother's Valley, Apartmánový dům Sklípek provides accommodation in Trutnov with access to a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a lift. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Place looks like its new, there is a washing machine and garden and is close to the town and the trails. There is a room to lock your bike overnight and a car spot for everyone. The lady who runs the place is so wonderful and very helpful if you need information or anything. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back.

The accommodation features free WiFi, as well as a terrace and a traditional restaurant. Went there for a music fest in the neighboring Trutnov with whole family and dog. The owners were supernice and helping. Good breakfast, big room. Nice building with authentic Dutch vibe.

The kids loved all the extra activities available, there was plenty space for everyone. Everything was clean, stocked and well kept. The food in the restaurant was phenomenal, along with the breakfast in the morning. All the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I would definitely come again.
