I enjoyed being able to go for a good walk along the river straight out from the Monastery premises.

Spa and pools were superb. Food was very good. And service top notch.

The hotel sitting over a petrol station is quirky and a must for motor fans. However it’s the staff that make it. They are so helpful. The hotel says it’s pet friendly and it truly is. Treat and bowls for the dog on arrival. Yet if you came here without a pet you would not know it. The rooms are immaculate with really funky decoration. The personalised decor (cushions, mags) depending on where you’re from is a nice touch. The local area is quiet but the hotel has a recommended pizza place which is a must see. Food is good and staff are also very friendly.

The Burgo de Osma’s spa has a huge range of treatments. Here you can enjoy the thermal circuit, hot tub, sauna or Turkish baths. They also offer massage. Looooove the hotel. I have visited it twice and would love to start all my vacations with 2 nights at Burgo de Osma.

There is also a 24-hour reception desk. Everything was perfect, the service, the facility and the location.

As well as the numerous charming sights of this ancient Castilian city, you will also find plenty of entertainment in the surrounding streets. Fantastic stay, even better than expected. We loved our stay in Salamanca and definitely want to come back again. A large part of that is due to Hospes Palacio de San Esteban. It is a historic property next to a monastery in the very heart of Salamanca, but due to the monastery it is very quiet. There is an outdoor pool, which was great in the July heat to cool down after we arrived. Staff was really nice and helpful, valet took care of our car and charged it as well for our trip to Madrid the next day. We explored Salamanca by foot from the hotel which is really easy. Breakfast is good as well.

The robes and slippers were so nice. The staff were very welcoming and excellent.

Posada Real Castillo del Buen Amor is a 15th-century castle, set in the Castillian countryside. It has been carefully restored to keep its structure and many of its features exactly as they have been for centuries. It offers lovely views of the countryside and features a seasonal outdoor pool, seating areas and a library. A beautiful special place! A real castle in and outside! Very good dinner and wine, very good breakfast. Very friendly!
