Within walking distance of the ancient city of Avallon, but also situated in the countryside, this B & B offered everything and we wished we could have stayed longer. Our studio accommodation afforded every comfort and breakfast was charmingly delivered in a basket and left outside the room at whatever time requested. The old farmhouse and gite had a wonderfully rustic feel, as martins and swallows flew in and out of the stables, and it was easy to see how families with children would love the ponies, swimming pool, and many other activities on offer. Very reasonably priced and a place to revisit.

Jean-Piere & Marie were very welcoming hosts. It's a beautiful, new hotel - perfect for us as close to the motorway but also very quiet with on site parking. Our room was large & comfortable, with black out curtains. Large bathroom with a walk in shower. Jean-Pierre & Marie (who I believe are both chefs) served us the most delicious 3 course evening meal. Sadly we couldn't stay for breakfast as we had an early start the next day. We'll be back soon though!!

Mr and Ms Boissier are amazing people who make you feel at home. We are very grateful for the loving attention to all the details of our stay, including wonderful food, meaningful conversations and a sweet dog, Luna. The dinner served consisted of 4 courses and I am still dreaming about how amazing it was.
