After months of travel we needed a nice place to stay for a while to recoup and have a break from hotels full of excited children and equally excited yapping dogs. La Capeline fulfilled this requirement and more. Everyone here from personnel to residents are welcoming and friendly despite our extremely limited French language skills. Lovely amenities and a dream to be able to swim in a super clean, quiet, swimming pool. If you're looking for a good base to explore Dunkirk away from the busy centre La Capeline is perfect. Secure designated parking and Lidl store opposite to make life even easier. Would recommend Domitys to anyone looking for self contained accommodation in a nice safe, quiet environment. The house and the room is amazing ! As soon as you step in, you enter a bubble of countryside coziness of your dreams. The house is absolutely beautiful, very well decorated with high quality material. A very zen vibe. You have access to all the common areas which are very well equipped (kitchen, dining room, reading room, living room). Everything is sparklingly clean. The rooms are big and very cosy. Again, beautifully decorated. The shower was big and clean. The bed was equipped with very good quality linens, pillows and duvet. You melt in the bed… I slept super well. We didn’t have time to enjoy the outdoors but there is also a very nice setup to chill outside - table to eat or have coffee, pool and poolside. It was just perfect! Congratulations to the owners !

Our host Benjamin was very attentive on our arrival even though we were a little later than I had anticipated. He showed us the facilities on offer, the pool and hot tub and gave us all the relevant information regarding our room and arrangements for breakfast.. The property itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean and the bedroom was a good size with a huge bathroom. The bed was so comfortable like sleeping on a cloud and there was plenty of hot water for bathing. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious, beautifully presented and plenty of choice with different bread cheese and meats fresh fruits and yoghurt and more..We would definitely stay again .

We had a lovely stay here and David and Sabrina were really helpful and welcoming. The room was lovely , and very spacious . It was beautifully decorated and our hosts had thought of everything with some lovely little extra touches like tea and madeleines and chocolates. The bed was very comfortable and the shower great. It was up quite steep stairs but David helped with our bags. The breakfast was amazing with so much to choose from . Lovely fresh fruit, cheeses and meat, jams and cereals and a breads and pastries. Each table was set with fresh roses , so pretty. It was a wonderful stay. Restaurants were very close and we were able to find a free park close by as well.We had a wonderful meal at L’ilot Vert.

Set in park land in Doudeauville, Domaine de la Course is a historic building dating from 1781 built by an officer of King Louis XVI and once belonging to the Givenchy family and the Chirac family. Wonderful venue, Catherine could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Extremely comfortable residence. Fantastic room. Beautiful living area in which to relax. Nothing not to like!
