Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It's just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance. The hosts were fantastic - particularly Hasitha. I was the only one staying during my visit (low season), but they filled my time with plenty of unforgettable activities. A highlight was the moonlight safari - we managed to spot a leopard during our drive which is very rare (I didn't see any during my safari at Yala). The food was amazing, probably some of the best meals I had during my stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts provided ample fresh drinking water (free of charge) which was a nice change from some of the other places I stayed. Other guests have commented on wildlife within the rooms. I mostly just saw some frogs and lizards, nothing too scary :)

The staff welcomed us and provided us with a very precious jeep to go on a Yala safari the next day. Everything is fine.

I loved a lot that the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and at any time accessible, the rooms were tidy, clean, and very spacious. Large balcony, private and quiet. The location was great too. I spent there 2 nights and it was very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious too. Definitely recommend this place. Great value for the money!

This is the most fantastic place built around the trees and natural habitat on the outskirts of Yala national park. Everything was provided, the food was incredible and we were given a trip to the fishing village on the beach for sunset in their buggy with Suraj and Tilina. It was like a mini safari. We saw crocodiles, deer, tortoises wild boar and on the beach the boys showed us where the elephants had been earlier in the day, footprints still showing in the sand. Suraj and Tilina were both young but so knowledgeable and friendly. They provided us breakfast at 4am for our Yala safari and we can't thank them, and the manager enough for making us so welcome. Will definitely stay again if we return to Sri Lanka.

The place was stunning, comfortable and lovely. We had the best BBQ of our lifes❤️ Silva (manager and guide) was a hidden gem of this place. He made us feel great and assured an amazing stay! King Reach also organized a great Safari where we could see a Leopard! Important: it is very rare to see a Leopard or Elefant (we didn’t see any) in yala at this time of the year. So remember it’s possible you come back just with some crocodile and monkey pics. Still it’s not the fault of the hotel or the Safari guide/driver the animals have enough food and water to stay in the bushes ! Thank you for this great experience!

Everything was perfect . The villa was fully equipped and luxurious. the staff was my favorite on the whole trip.They were always willing to help and always smiling. I would highly recommend this accommodation. Also Κumara and his driver, the best we could have had for our safari. They helped make it a beautiful experience.

The food, the people working here, the location and facilities. The room had the comfiest bed, nice coffee, all in the middle of nature with birds and paddy fields. Lovely pool, great breakfast, lunch and dinner. All of the employees were so friendly and attentive. It was only a short drive to Yala for safari. They packed us a nice breakfast for the early start...just remember to hide that breakfast in the jeep cab or the monkeys will take it😁stayed 2 nights, and extra one would've been great!
