The staff were superb, and there were a few stand out characters like ‘Smiley’ on the towel stand, who was lots of fun. The standard of the food was very high and there are various different places to eat around the resort, which gives you enough variety. We took our 13 year old son and his friend and they loved being able to go and get food and drinks whenever they wanted something.

Some have a private terrace or balcony. Staff were very friendly. Good restaurants near by. Gym in building for $5 a day. A free pool to use. They gave me a big room upgrade for free. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good and had plenty of options. I had a big balcony with a great view to the ocean.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. A beautifully restored Riad, tastefully furnished which oozes history and possibly one or two ghosts! We had the place to ourselves which suited the four of us but might not suit those who are expecting to meet fellow visitors. Extremely quiet but the hussle and bustle of Taroudant life is just outside the door. Very well located for the two main souks and Place Assarag where you can sit drinking mint tea and watch the world go by. We had been warned that November could be cold in the morning and night and it certainly was. I managed to swim each day but it was cold as the sun didn’t really get to heat the pool. We ended up staying for five nights (I extended our stay no problem). There’s not a lot to “do” in Taroudant in the way of touristy things but for me, just wandering the labyrinth of streets and looking at all the different corners of the city was fascinating and enough. We did one day trip to Tioute which was a highlight if you’re into agricultural systems and production…fascinating. Fully functioning kitchen was good to have.

We only stayed one night but it was 100 percent worth the detour to get there. Beautiful quirky accommodation and super clean, amazing food and the best breakfast we had in morrocco - comfy beds and great shower - the dunes and canyon are an extraordinary place and only 5 mins away over the road. We loved exploring these. The staff were so kind and generous and let us stay for longer despite checking out while we waited for a taxi. The swimming pool is a really nice addition. If you are considering booking this place but worried it’s pricey - 1000 percent book it as it’s worth every penny!

We only booked this accommodation on our way, arrived late and departed very early, a mistake, it would have been great to spend more time. Tania got up very early, just to say goodbye, to help us and even gave us a thoughtful packed breakfast for our way.
