Offering an outdoor pool and a spa and wellness centre, Barahi Jungle Lodge is located in Meghauli. Free Wi-Fi access is available in this resort. We had a truly wonderful time Barahi jungle lodge. It was hugely relaxing and peaceful, with our beautiful room looking over the river. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was lovely too. Food was really delicious every meal. Loved all of it - very fresh and varied. We did two full days of drives and saw extensive wildlife, with a fleeting glimpse of a tiger in the distance. However the large number of rhino, deer, monkeys, some sloth bears, bison and birds mean that it’s a really enchanting experience in beautiful surroundings. Huge thanks to every member of the team for making it such a wonderful experience. There was extreme kindness and generosity shown.

We originally booked this hotel because it is a newer property and has a pool. We were delighted to be greeted by the lovely staff with a delicious welcome drink. Our stay was perfect. The rooms were very comfortable with fantastic showers and good AC. The kids loved playing in the pool and were very well looked after by the staff. They helped us book an incredible canoe ride, walking tours and a jeep safari with great guides. However, it was our last morning in the hotel where we saw how amazing they really are. My husband woke up at 4am with terrible pain and the hotel drove us to the hospital right away. Soon the manager Mr. Trilochan Adhikari showed up just to check on us and stayed to help translate. We felt so well taken care of. They really went above and beyond to help. We highly recommend staying here on your trip to Chitwan.

This is the best guesthouse I have ever been to. Manoj and his family are adorable. The food is great, the room is cosy and i loved my walking safari in the jungle where I could spot many animals. I felt like at home and wish i extented my stay because it was so relaxing ;)

The rooms were clean, and cozy, and offered a peaceful connection to nature. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for great hospitality, delicious food, and a serene escape! 10/10!

From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was stepping into the national park. The property is right outside the national park, but it genuinely feels like part of it. The pond and wetland are teeming with life—100+ bird species, fish swimming around (a staff noted that fish are fed with waste food from the hotel kitchen!), and even a waterfall in the pool area. It’s so peaceful! The rooms are villa-style, super comfortable, and have amazing views of the pond. I loved the Tharu-style artwork in the decor—such a nice touch that celebrates local culture. The property is also wheelchair-friendly, which I really appreciated. The staff was fantastic—welcoming me with drinks and flowers at check-in. The food was a perfect mix of local and international dishes, and everything felt thoughtfully curated. Can’t wait to visit again!
