Ladies in the hotel gave pointed and good advice on how to best reach the sites.

The entire experience was way more than what I expected from the description. It is a place full of history, with a superbe garden and pool, view to the ocean and the most welcoming and nice people. We had a wonderful time, it is the perfect place to relax in peace and quiet.

The entire estate was a dream property situated in the Sintra mountain, walking distance to city center. The landscape offered exceptional views to the ocean and a beautiful pool, greenhouse ballroom, orchard and courtyard near our room. The main house above was beautifully decorated with a great dining room for breakfast. The pictures do not do it justice.

We checked in late at night, and Andre took great care of us and got us situated. We stayed in the Deluxe King Hasten Suite (which is not a king bed, but a queen), and it was beautiful. We also ordered in-room massages with one of their vendors. Slight hiccup was that the appointments were for Mon, but she didn't arrive due to child care issues, and we rescheduled for the next day. It was great. The property itself is fantastic with cork walls, wooden decks, and many small design details that we appreciated. The shower was very large and had plenty of hot water with great water pressure. Our own Netflix account was super easy to connect to their TV via the supplied QR code. Every morning, there was free breakfast, and it was freshly made and delicious. Plenty of free coffee, tea, and juices in the breakfast area adjacent to the lobby. Breakfast included chia puddings, uniquely prepared egg options, pancakes, etc. We also got to know Jason there who was also fantastic and very hospitable.
