Room and bathroom sparkling clean, the balcony offers a stunning view, the host contacted us before arriving and gave us all the information needed and he was so nice. We will come back for sure!

Our room was on the riverfront with a balcony of a good size. The room was spacious and equipped with everything needed, minus a coffee machine.AC works well, and despite street traffic, the room was quiet. I requested hot water for tea, and Vasilica at the front desk gave me a brand-new electric kettle to use in the room. Breakfast is served at a table and is enough to feel you. The location is excellent; it is close to the center and the road to the monastery. They have a pool which is very clean and private. Great hotel!

(like at the Double Rise) Once at sunrise, when you begin to see, and then when it rises from behind the mountain opposite over the Danube. Given that the sun is higher up when it comes out proper, I've seen some of the most amazing "golden bridges" ever. All the rooms have balconies facing the river, and an other useful thing is that the parking lot is right out the door, so you can have your car as a quasi extension of your room, which is quite useful. The host is the best of the best. He treats every guest as a friend, and would go above and beyond for you to have the best experience possible. There are so many wonderful things to see and do in the surrounding area, and he is a treasure trove of information.

It is the most special location I have been to - the hotel is located directly on the river coast and all the rooms are looking at the Danube. It was magical to see the night Danube, the morning Danube, as well as a storm, directly from the room. The place is full of interesting spots to visit - monasteries, museums, hiking routes in the nature reserves as well as boat trips in the river. Or you can enjoy peaceful time sunbathing in the garden. You can also cross the border with Serbia and visit some of the spots on the other side of the river. The host was very helpful, upgraded our room, organized our boat trip (we were taken directly from the hotel - on the boat) and provided a nice list of restaurants. I definitely would like to go again and continue exploring the area.
