We recently stayed at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the level of service and convenience. The hotel exceeded all our expectations, and I am happy to share my positive review. First of all, I would like to mention the staff. From the first day we were surrounded with attention and care. All the staff were very friendly, polite and ready to help in any situation. This created a feeling of home comfort and coziness. Our room was spacious, modern and very clean. It is obvious that special attention is paid to cleaning: every day there was a thorough cleaning, and towels and bed linen were always fresh. The room had all the necessary amenities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The air conditioning works, a kettle, a hairdryer are in the room. There is also a swimming pool, the water is excellent. The restaurant in the hotel deserves special praise. The breakfasts were varied and very tasty, the team clearly puts their soul into their work, offering guests delicious dishes. Another big plus of the hotel is its location. It is just a few minutes' walk from the beach, which was an ideal option for us. We enjoyed long walks along the coast and swimming in the sea. Overall, our stay at this hotel was wonderful. We were very pleased and will definitely come back here again. I recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates high level of service, comfort and convenient location.

If you are looking for a hotel with a stunning view, good staff and breakfast in Split, then this is it. Visited the spa (pool and sauna) and also the rooftop bar which gives you an amazing view at the evening. Definitely would recommend it as the room itself was spacious for one night stay and bed was comfortable.

What not to like about Katamare!!! It’s a lovely hotel situated just few meters from the beach with an amazing view. We were checked in before the usual check in time, check in was very swift and fast and we Checked were upgraded to a very lovely 2 bedroom apartment with a magnificent view. We had to extend our stay and were moved to another room with a private pool. The staffs are very courteous starting from the front desk with Maria and the team at the reception. Also the food was good and the service persons are always willing to help (Nickolas was superbly helpful). It’s proximity to the beach and all local testy and bars was also a good advantage

We visited in october was perfect.

We visited in october was perfect. However the most dissapointing thing was Down at the docks of Split salespeople will promise different day tours to certain islands, only to cancel at the last minute so they can fill their own preferred boats and tours. This left many tourists extremely unhappy. Not worth the €500 we paid for a family of four. Feels like a con. Be aware and double-check everything before booking. Overall beutiful city, great time to go not so hot and less touristy.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history. plenty of shops, people were helpful, plenty of small bars most selling food at very reasonable prices. A walk along the beach is recommended where there are many restaurants with lots of variety. if travelling i would recommend taking a bus as taxis are rather expensive i.e. a bus from the airport will cost 7 euro whilst a taxi will cost around 37 euro.

Dubrovnik Old town is compact and kept extremely clean.

Dubrovnik Old town is compact and kept extremely clean. Several small museums worthy of a visit and whole area steeped in history. Tourist info good and tour operators have several options for going further into the Croatia and surrounding countries. Shops are mostly the souvenir type aimed at holidaymakers. Cafes and restaurants serve superb food and have very friendly, helpful staff. Meals work out more expensive than the UK but are generally very good quality. Good local bus service and easy accessible taxis.

An interesting old city with a lot to see and enjoy.

An interesting old city with a lot to see and enjoy. Bars to suit everyone's taste Historic buildings such as the castle and the Theatre which has very cheap seats compared to the UK. For example a Puccini opera stall seats for the equivalent of £20 each. The market situated in beautiful old buildings with a good quality fresh food. If you are flying from Rijeka airport the bus to get there is very confusing. Despite what they say you cannot book online. Of the 3 bus stations in the city none of them sell tickets for the airport bus.....although they will direct you to each other. The airport bus leaves from Jelacicev Trg (square) and takes preferably cash : E15 each or will take card at a push. If you miss the bus then a taxi from the same square will take you for E50.

Really liked the small old town in Budva.

Really liked the small old town in Budva. It doesn't get too many tourists ( like Kotor) so is less crowded and more tranquil. I didn't like the fact you had to pay to walk along a part of the walled town. There are lots of small food places there (selling pizza, sandwiches, byreks, cakes), which is great and absent in lots of these type of places.

The town was perfect size so walking is easy for everyone. Please note the cobbled streets can be a little slippery so fancy high heeled shoes are a No-No! The local people are kind and friendly and everyone is catered for. Little tip:- book restaurants early to avoid disappointment not obtaining a reservation.

Lovely city.

Lovely city. Beautiful and you can explore it as much or as little as you like. Beautiful scenery. Not fully pushchair friendly though. But it is an old town that was built long before pushchairs were invented. We did a day exploring with baby in the pushchair and then another day with the baby in the carrier so we could access more areas. Loads of shops, places to eat and drink. Been for the last 3 years in a row because we love it so much.
