Everything was perfect during our stay. We were there just one night but we would love to stay longer if we could. Hotel is really clean, bedroom so beautiful with great balcony! Soundproof and really confortable bed. Fridge on the room, air conditioner, elevator, parking just in front of the hotel and beautiful garden illuminate at night. Breakfast with the view on the pool in the morning is wonderful. Employees and owner are very helpful and friendly! Always there to help you. Hotel is close to the beach, 5-10 minutes by walk to see wonderful red sunsets, or it can also be seen on the rooftop of the hotel. Best hotel we had so far in Albania!

Very satisfied! I will definitely come back! The stay at Villas Palma was fantastic! The villa was very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed.     My daughter and I had a wonderful two-night stay at Vila Lule from Wednesday to Thursday. The owner was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. He was always smiling and took the time to explain everything about breakfast, making sure we had a great start to our day. The personal touch was amazing—he even prepared our beach chairs and towels for us every morning. The location is perfect for a relaxing trip with family, right on the beach. We loved our time here and would highly recommend it to other families."

    We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. We came in September and it was still warm enough to tan but not so hot you couldn’t enjoy walking or exercising.

    This is perfect for its purpose!

    This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning. It worked out perfectly. Safe, clean & our bed was actually the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Albania.

    Kruje is charming and small.

    Kruje is charming and small. You don't need more than half a day to walk through bazaar and explore the castle views and museums. You could stay longer if you are planning to do hikes in the area which we didn't have time for. It is a charming small town with great views and a nice bazaar.

    The beaches are awefull around Cape Rodon. Lot's of trash and garbage floating around the beaches and sea. Currently there are 2 newly built resorts (Saint Michelle Residence and Resort Arbeni) being demolished for unknown reasons. Our first booked accomodation let us know that they had to cancel our booking due to Albanian new legislation (Piceri Rodoni). In my opinion it is better to stay at the beaches of Dürres and visit the cape as half a day trip. But if you want to have a non-active holiday, Rodoni resort is the best place you could imagine to stay.

    If you are not fussy about rural life, this is a good opportunity to get to know the real Albanian countryside. The family is very welcoming and helpful. The villagers were also friendly and willing to help you every step of the way. The cooking facilities at the property were very good. The location is great for getting around.

    Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.

    Krujë is a lovely spot with both cultural and visual appeal. One day is sufficient to see what there is to experience. I stayed an extra day because I had work to do online. Be warned, this is a mountain down so you will be doing a lot of up and downhill walking. Reconsider if you have mobility issues.

I would recommend to have options of water activities for the families and the kids even though there is plenty of ground activities available.

    I find that the banking situation is an obscene scam. All of my credit card purchases serviced by Raiffheisen Bank were declined at grocery stores for some reason. Several ATMS did not provide me with cash. I had to take cash out of an ATM that charged me $50 US Dollars to take cash out, because the card servicer wasn't approving the card transactions at the grocery store. I have not had this serious of a problem in any other country. I didn't really explore a lot. I wish there was a store that carried camping/hiking equipment. I think the coastline is nice. The restaurant prices seem to be reasonable. Mostly I stayed in my room at my hostel by myself so I can't really be reliable to rate the entire city.
