We loved absolutely everything about this hotel! It is recently opened, so everything is brand new. Beautiful mix of the modern with traditional right at the historical building with beautiful view. The beds are extremely comfortable, room neatly clean. The breakfast was the most tasty breakfast we had during our road-trip in Albania. We also ate at their restaurant and again, extremely tasty traditional food. The management was great in communication before the stay, during the stay, they gave us advice what to visit in Gjirokaster. This was truly great experience for us! :)

If it were possible, I would give it a 20. Room 106, clean, bed too comfortable for a 35cm yogi, plus a mattress topper, modern bathroom. Maradona is for 10, free pick-up and drop-off, always smiling. Delicious breakfast on time.

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it. The location is ideal for visiting the historic area on foot while also enjoying peace and quiet. Eleana is an incredible host, attentive, kind, and very thoughtful. The property itself is full of beautiful history, and the restoration has been carefully designed, making you feel as if you are in a truly unique place. You can ask for a place to park your car for free what is super useful in the storical distric. Breakfast on the terrace in front of the rooms was wonderful: homemade, varied, and abundant, a perfect way to enjoy the authentic flavors of the region. I would definitely recommend staying here. It’s a place with real personality and charm, and one that leaves you with very special memories.

Everything was amazing. The people who work there were the nicest people we have ever met! So nice and helpful. The room was adorable, bathroom was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. They try their best to help you have an amazing stay and even an amazing trip, we got a few recommendations of beaches/places to visit and they were lovely. Definitely would stay here again, I loved every day I was there. Has an amazing ac btw!

We stayed one night at Kore Guesthouse and completely fell in love. Every little detail was so cute and so Albanian, from the decor to the cozy atmosphere, you could feel the love and effort in every corner. The terrace had the most stunning view over the city and surrounding mountains — truly unforgettable. And the breakfast? Homemade petulla, fresh jam… everything was delicious and made with so much care. It was such a warm, beautiful experience. We’re already looking forward to coming back! 💛

A last minute stop over that did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in you are provided a car park and made to feel welcome and provided with all the information for your stay in Gjirokaster by the host. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and great pressure on the shower. I would highly recommend and would visit again.

First of all the staff, from the manager to the people tending to breakfast everyone was really friendly and helpful. The views feom the breakfast terrace are astonishing, the view from the room also. Lovely decoration, the best place, close to the market but not in the middle of it. Beautiful adapted old house. Perfect!

Great value for money. I pais 35 eur for one night with breakfast included. Great location next to the bazaar. From the bus terminal you can take a taxi for 400LEK to the old town. Payment can be done by card but not with a contactless option as they claim that their terminal is not working contactless.

Perfect!! The owner was super friendly and even parked our car for us in the very steep and narrow streets of the city. We had a very big and pretty room with terrace for a very good price. The view from the terrace was amazing. Also we had a very good breakfast in the morning.

This is an absolutly lovely boutique hotel on top of Girokaster, with this breathtaking view over the old town and castle. The staff it’s as warming has a lovely place like this required. The food was absolutly delicious. I only regret that we hadn’t spend more time there.

Permet is a nice small city but with very good and...

Permet is a nice small city but with very good and hospitable people with a great history. It is called "the city of roses" because of the multi kinds of roses that grows in the city. Its culinary is one of the strongest points. Rafting, hiking, exploring and the termal baths are some of the things you can do there.

The natural views are crazy in my opinion.

The natural views are crazy in my opinion. Crazy mountains and rivers, streams everywhere. The people are very nice, I read about other accounts but we experienced nothing but kindness and politeness. Its off the beaten track which we personally like. Its not all tarted up and cheap touristic vibe like you get in so many European countries, that you dont know what is real anymore. The seaside is also now only about 50 min away - we took a road to Sarande that apparently was just completed, so we also experienced a bit of the mediteranean vibe.

We really enjoyed our time in Përmet.

We really enjoyed our time in Përmet. The town was surprisingly clean compared to bigger tourist cities – no piles of garbage and no unpleasant smells, which made it very pleasant to walk around. It’s also much quieter, which we really appreciated. We ate at Bar Restaurant Lulishte, and I can’t recommend it highly enough – the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Getting around Përmet is quite easy since it’s a small town, and the beautiful landscapes make every walk enjoyable. For young couples, it’s a wonderful destination to relax, enjoy nature, and take in the peaceful vibe together.

Old Gjirokaster is a well preserved historical city worth visiting. The atmosphere of old world is all around in the beautiful mansions, the cobbled uphill/downhill streets, the massive castle looming above it all. The people are friendly, the prices reasonable. A helpful tip, wear thick-soled shoes as the pretty cobble-stones can be felt under your feet after walking a while or if you have sore knees/hips/ankles use a walking stick for support going up/down the inclines and stairs. Highly recommended.

I liked Permet a lot!

I liked Permet a lot! It is a small town, so you see it in a single day but there is a beautiful river passing through it, and it is surrounded by mountains. There is a range of activities to do around Permet like rafting, hiking, canyoning. I stayed 3 days only but I would have enjoyed staying a bit more to do some hiking.
