The hotel looks brand new. Decorated in a very modern way. The facilities were perfect. The room had everything we needed. The spa area was excellent. A few blocks away from the main plaza. The people at the counter, bar, restaurant, cleaning crew, and parking were all eager to serve with a smile. Everyone was very friendly and kind. Breakfast was good. The room service menu was delicious. We loved our experience in the hotel.

I had a great stay as a solo traveller. The room was lovely and clean, the location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast in the restaurant was amazing, hands down the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, it was freshly made for you and included three different courses of local foods!

Didn't feel like Albania - very nice spacious beach with a shallow calm sea. Some areas are developed and others are not, covered in rubbish and derelict buildings. Lots of shops selling all you need.

​This apartment was a fantastic choice! The design was charming and stylish, making the space feel instantly welcoming. Crucially, the bedding and mattress were incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. The host’s communication was excellent—proactive and reliable—making the entire stay stress-free, from booking to simple check-out. Highly recommended for a relaxing trip.

Hidden gem.

Hidden gem. Pellumbas is only 30 min from Tirana bud it is actually beautiful small village with superb views, especially during sunset. Hiking treks are in nearby mountains, one trek leads to huge interesting cave and start directly frim the village center. Local people are very warm and welcoming. We stayed in Rozmarine pension and would go again for longer.

I have been to Tirana many times over the past decade plus, for a variety of reasons. It is a lively, bustling city, with something for everyone: - History, both older and contemporary (Tirana Castle, BunkArt, House of Leaves) - Religious Harmony (Sunni Mosque, Bekteshi World HQ, Catholic and Orthodox Churches) - Nights out (Blloku, Mustafa Matohiti Road) - Sports (Arena Kombetare for Tirana sports clubs and National Team Games) - Culinary delights (Albanian, International) The central core of the city is quite walkable, and there are buses and taxis available too.

It's inexpensive here, the sea is beautiful, but there are no attractions. And the biggest problem is cleanliness. There is a lot of trash on the beach, a lot of open trash cans, in some places it stinks of sewage, and in one place something is leaking from a large pipe right onto the sand on the beach. If you stay at a good hotel, you may not notice any of this. But if you go for a walk around the city, unfortunately, it is clear that there are major problems with cleanliness.

Tirana is an upcoming and vibrant city, but unfortunately, it is plagued by terrible traffic. The city centre is as touristic as any other European city. However, it is still possible to find local authentic restaurants, and it is dotted with trendy bars where one can relax having drinks still reasonably priced. Walking around the city centre at night felt safe.

After almost 2,000 km traveled by car in nearly 30 hours due to countless traffic jams, we managed to arrive home without other problems, but of course extremely tired—yet with beautiful memories, to which you also contributed with your kindness and the valuable advice you gave us. We learned, with your help, that Albania is a beautiful country, still in a period of reconstruction, full of wonderful and hardworking people, always ready to help you with everything they can. But perhaps the most important thing is that they have not forgotten that Romanians and Albanians have been, and still are, brothers. We are connected by both past and present. The first thing that surprised us about our host was the outstanding cleanliness we found inside the apartment. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with absolutely everything necessary, air conditioning in every room as well as in the kitchen, clean bed sheets, immaculate white towels, etc. It has happened to me to stay in luxury hotels and not find this level of perfection. About the hosts, we have only words of praise. Even before our arrival, they checked if we were all right, if anything had happened, and during our entire stay they were always there for us—at any hour—through WhatsApp and even through Mr. Nardi himself coming to the apartment in person, even though they live quite a distance away. We were pleasantly surprised that we even had free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. At our departure, they even offered to help us if we needed anything. Sincere congratulations to these people who once again showed us that Albanians are people with big hearts, always ready to help you as long as you respect them and come with good intentions to their country.
