In the middle of the breathtaking mountains and after driving the Grossglockner High Alpine Road this is the perfect spot for us. Our room was wonderful (Nature Plus Room with balcony and mountain view) and the bed was very comfy - sometimes I have problems with sleeping in a hotel - not here. The Spa is great, many different pools and spots, breakfast and dinner was spectacular with an extra themed buffet in addition to the served dinner. They have a great ground floor garage where we could park our low Corvettes without any problems and the bus stop in front of the hotel is very convenient if you plan to go to Zell am See or to the Kitzsteinhorn and don't want to drive with your car. The most enjoyable experience was the visit to Hohensalzburg...
The most enjoyable experience was the visit to Hohensalzburg fortress. To really see it properly, I would advise going in the morning, bringing a picnic or snack and spending a few hours there...there is so much to see. Other highlights were the organ recital in Salzburg Cathedral and visiting so many spectacular churches.... St Peter's church was a favourite and the Jesuit church was quite a surprise...so much colour! The Mirabelle gardens were lovely to stroll in and also the walks along the riverside. We were sorry not to get to Schonbrunn Palace, but hope to return to Salzburg, when that will be our No. 1 priority.Guest review byGRAINNEIreland - 10.0

I loved the beauty of Innsbruck and the friendly, kind locals. There was a wine festival and the atmosphere was wonderful with local musicians dressed in Tyrolean outfits and playing delightful music. The shops were great with many beautiful, well-made things to buy. It was delightful to walk into the old town by the river and the water was a gorgeous teal colour. Bled is a hidden gem in Slovenia. The lake and surrounding area are stunning. I would suggest exploring a little further afield especially if you are one who enjoys the outdoors, opportunities are abundant. The choices for dining are many, everything from grocery store “ready meals” to fine dining (do try the local dishes). Bled is easily walkable for all ages, also cyclists are welcome. The city is incredibly charming, with a vibe that feels much more Austrian than Italian. It’s also surrounded by plenty of beautiful hikes (which I wish I’d had time to do!). I only stayed for two days, and while one day is enough to see the city itself, the real highlight is exploring the trails and nature nearby. Grindelwald is like a Swiss Fairytale.
Grindelwald is like a Swiss Fairytale. All the wonderful Swiss Chalets, the incomparable alps, the charming Swiss people. Grindelwald is definitely a tourist town with shops selling all the Swiss trinkets, but that's part of the charm.
