The proximity to the train station was brilliant. We were taking the Bernina Express from Chur and I cannot think that there can be a better located hotel if you are travelling by train. The location to explore the town is equally great. The hotel rooms were contemporary and cleverly designed with all the comforts you would need. The lighting in the room was outstanding. Supremely comfortable bathrooms with great amenities. The reception and breakfast team were super efficient and friendly. The breakfast was great. Chur is lovely and in hindsight I should have booked two nights there as the town has a lot to explore. I highly recommend this hotel and would choose it again.

We always try to stay in a boutique hotel when we travel. This ticks all the boxes from room to facilities and the most friendlies of staff. Close proximity to restaurants and if you're lucky enough to be there on a Friday, a fresh produce market in the town square just outside the front door. The Blaue Rose is a high-quality, moderately priced hotel in the heart of the Alps. It is also brand new and run by a gentleman I have never met who showed me more care as a guest than I have received at 99 percent of the hotels I have booked in Europe over the past 45 years. The room perfectly fit my needs. The bed was comfortable, the bedding crisp, the shower, brand new, the silence outside was welcome (zero traffic noise), Feldkirch train station is within walking walking distance, and the path led through an idyllic Austrian mountain town, The design of the room was superior to the trendy and expensive boutique hotels I've stayed in in Manhattan, Berlin, and other cities. One judges the caring attitude of a hotel and its ownership and staff when things go wrong. I was very tired when I arrived and initially had a difficult time with the outsourced self-check in system and reported the issue. The hotel owner was so concerned with my problem that he thanked me for my comments, apologized profusely, and immediately upgraded the entire system to prevent future guests, including myself, from having to deal with similar issues. I visited Blaue Rose as an overnight before attending a meeting in Davos. I was happy to have had a place of serenity and a good night's sleep before dealing with the World Forum crowd. I will make a habit of visiting the Blaue Rose as a stop over between Vienna and Zug, Zurich, and other towns and cities of Switzerland.

Hotel was very clean and had a nice restaurant serving very nice and locally sourced food and drinks. Hotel personnel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location was good too, only 15 minutes walk to the Heerbrugg train station. Overall a very nice place.

Host is always available, one press of a button from a frontdesk and being super friendly. Room was very spacious, for sleep there were blackout curtains which could block any sunlight (also there were mechanical blinds from outside the window). Many good TV channels. Coffee capsule machine inside the room and also ketle avalaible. AC was good, not too loud but not very quiet too (air noise only though), minimum fan setting is still quite powerful. We had a room facing backyard, very quiet, occasional vehicle would rarely go by. Bathroom was great, with amenities of four star hotel, only slippers and a robe missing! Twin beds can be pushed together. Bakery onsite is worth visiting! There is bus stop nearby which connects to old town and trainstation (403 and 404).
