They offer a summer card which entitles for a lot of reduced fare activities.
The staff were extremely nice and willing to help. The room was tidied up every day.

Fantastic hotel, loved our stay at Vitalhotel Gosau. Comfy beds, spacious room with balcony and lovely towels and bath robes.

Staff was great, food abundent and delicious, spacious apartment and very comfortable. We requested a birthday cake for one of our children and they were happy to fulfill our request. Good location, ski slopes at 5 minute walk, Hallstatt and Salzburg were a short drive away.
Would come again in the summer as well.

Perfect location, very easy to find , countless free parking spaces. Immaculate. Very good restaurant. Highly recommended for couples.
The only drawback is confirmation of reservation needed by verifying your credit card.

For kids - Geister Wald (Ghost forest) - 4,5km long hike with fun activities for kids. Our kids loved them. Just to be aware - you need to pick up from the info center a map where kids could get stamps and also you need 2euro coin to get a wooden ball from the machine you can find just at the start of the hike.
Small store - very helpful staff, all the basics you need you find there
Waterpark - great nature pool to chill with kids

Being surrounded by mountains and walking trails. I think Gosau is known for skiing in the winter but we were there in mid September and the weather was perfect for walking along the river and lakes. Cool but sunny

I used to visit Alpen in Austria many times in various places; the big centres are totally full of people during the season. This is the reason why I decided myself for Annaberg - it's very nice and quiet place with not too many people, even the surroundings are prefect.

This is lovely village in both winter and summer.
This is lovely village in both winter and summer. Beautifully unspoilt by no big touring companies taking over, and the tourist accomodation is predominantly private. It has its own lift into the Dachstein West area, and in the summer there are a multitude of hiking paths to follow.

Gosau had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing...
Gosau had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing holiday - a grocery store, multiple restaurants, beautiful views, friendly people, and many trails for hiking, biking, and walking. Additionally, Gosausee is only a short drive away. We didn't leave Gosau during our entire stay, as there were plenty of things to do, including just relaxing.

Little village with only few little shops, neareast...
Little village with only few little shops, neareast supermarket 6km away in Gosau. Crosscountry slopes not in site, you have to get to Gosau or Abtenau (12km away). Good site for downhill skiing and for summer hiking.
