Dinner on half board was inclusive of drinks, including wine and beer. Buffet courses to start with a choice of main course served to the table.

Access to the lake about 15mins walk down to the boat station. Bit of a hill coming back.

The Mathiasl Wellness is situated in an excellent location with breathtaking views. The owner was incredibly welcoming and had thoughtfully placed both red and white wine on the dining table and in the fridge, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We traveled as a group of six, and everyone agreed that we would love to return. The accommodation was fully equipped with everything we needed, creating a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The kitchen was impressively stocked, with more glasses and plates than I even have at home! We also brought our dog along, and they made him feel just as welcome.

The town is great, with a lot of activities for kids, the only dowside is that the information regarding the opening hours are not updated on the internet, the knowladge of english in different shops/restaurants is quite poor and the information regarding the erlebnis card are not clear. The best place for kids is Familywald.

Our accommodation was upgraded compared to what we ordered. Overall, however, this place was a pleasant surprise and it is a shame we couldn't have spent more time here. There is definitely more to discover here. The private beach with all the facilities is very nice.

Nice place but too small.
Nice place but too small. Its for relax if you are kind of "stay at place" people. Nature great, but to much privat grounds around the lake. No walk way right next to the lake. Like it is f.e. at Bled lake.
Its sit and enjoy the view, air and peace.

Many entertainment and sports options in the surrounding area. Option of a steamboat trip on the lake. Adlerarena and Affenberg at Landskron Castle are worth a visit. The Carinthia Card is a great option.

The house itself has everything to feel like at home and even better.
The kitchen is fully equipped ( even with a gadget fridge ), has a nice firework place to relax, the view is over the forest and you can re-connect with the nature.
It has even a spa and a relaxation room.

Very nice location, directly at the lake, close to the mountains, lots of hiking trails, beautiful places nearby, easy to reach by train. Unfortunately, there is no supply infrastructure (supermarket, grocery store, ...), not even close by. No big issue with a car, but without, things can get tedious.

It is a nice, quiet neighbourhood.
It is a nice, quiet neighbourhood. It is easy to get around the village but the footpath leads directly along the railway line. The supermarkets are close and well stocked. Public lighting is weak and going out at night is not pleasant.

Annenheim is a very small town on the Ossiacher See.
Annenheim is a very small town on the Ossiacher See. We were there for only three days, out of season (end of April) and with bad weather, so we did not explore as much as we would have if the weather were better. We did some walks around the lake and in the forest around it. There are many different trails, from easy to hard. There is also paragliding, possibility to rent boats, skiing in winter. One thing we noted is that out of season almost every restaurant/cafe in the area is closed (one would need to go to Villach to eat out).

approx. 200 m from the lake, beautiful and clean accommodation, excellent and rich breakfast, very kind and helpful owners, excellent communication, accommodation for dogs, free e-bike rental, they rent sports equipment for the water, private grassy beach, local food, the possibility of many bicycle trips even on foot, beautiful nature. The heart of Carinthia region, plenty of attractions worth to see, the Gerlitzer mountain, the lakes, the castles, the nature, the activities such as paragliding, etc.
One needs to bring own food with him, closest restaurant is at about 10 minutes drive distance.
