Our stay at the Glück Auf was simply fantastic. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the facilities are top notch, and the location is perfect. Breakfast was beautifully presented, and it’s a very short walk to the Hauptstraße with many great restaurants. We plan on returning to this property!

The location is very good and easy reachable by car. The breakfast options and dinner variations are varied and remarkably tasty. Sauna is cosy and hot as sauna need to be. Rooms are homely equiped and clean. Host was helpfull and accepted kindly our exctra requrements. Additional bonus is nature surronding the village.

Nice aesthetics and good vibes. The hotel has very large rooms to offer. Beautiful inside pool area and access to nice outdoor natural pool in the neighbouring hotel. We had half board and food was great. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Our vacation in Zillertal was great! Great location (Bichl), good ski and the Hotel (Theresia) was excellent in every possible way: super-friendly, great hospitality! The staff attended to every need we had and made sure we know how to move in the area, explained in detail the ski options we had, ski-passes bought at the reception desk, great breakfast, really nice facilities / sauna / gym area / relax room etc., very clean and the half-board option proved to be ideal for us! The area has many ski resorts and gondolas and supports all tastes, as well as great accommodation, good accessibility via frequent ski buses and variety of lifts. Overall a very nice experience and we’ll be coming back for sure in Zillertal and especially in Hotel Theresia!!

This place is SO beautiful - location is great, and the rooms perfect! I have never meet such kindhearted people in a hotel reception as I did here - we felt at home the moment we stepped inside! Also the food is delicious - the breakfast is yummy!

The hotel and its location were absolutely delightful; there is truly nothing to complain about. The rooms are immaculate, and the variety of food choices is excellent. The facilities are modern and flawless, making for a wonderful stay. The main advantages: Location: The hotel offers plenty of options for hiking around the area. The nearby town with ski lifts, Mayerhofen, is easily accessible by car, bike, or on foot. The E-bike rental service works perfectly, allowing you to reach nearby tourist attractions without the need for long hikes. -Service: Each day, the hotel provides different activity ideas in a "daily newspaper." For those who prefer guided tours, there are plenty available almost every day. Additionally, yoga lessons and sauna activities make the stay even more enjoyable. -Beds: The beds were a real treat! Unlike the uncomfortable gap in the middle that you find in 90% of hotels, these beds were true double beds, making the stay feel more like being at home. -Entertainment options: The room's TV is preinstalled with apps like Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube, allowing guests to watch whatever they like. This feature is not commonly found in hotels and was truly appreciated. Though the overall experience was fantastic, there are a few minor points that could be improved: -Sauna: It would be great to have one sauna designated for guests who prefer to wear swimwear or use towels instead of going naked. This option would make the facility more inclusive and accommodating. -Wine prices: While the wine selection is excellent, the prices are a bit on the higher side. Nevertheless, the quality of the wines offered compensates for this minor downside. In summary, our stay at the hotel was outstanding, and any small improvements mentioned here are merely suggestions to enhance an already wonderful experience. We had a fantastic time and would gladly return in the future.

I liked everything. Especially the wide offer of activities for all ages. The room was incredibly thought through and perfect for families. We spent most time at the kids club, which was beautifully equipped, pool, table tennis and trampoline, petting zoo and play ground. Only thing that would have made it even better would be a possibility to have dinner earlier. As the time was quite late for kids with a regular bed time at 7pm. Unfortunately, we have one of those kids that no matter what time they go to bed, they wake up at 6 am anyways. So our boy was forced to be tired every day, which made the holiday a little difficult.

Very nice location, big and clean rooms. Hotel has a restaurant with good food and very tasty Radler. Breakfast was also very good, great cappuccino and a lot of food choice. Breakfast times are quite late for our taste (07:30 - 10:00), as we came to hike in the region. The parking slot is big (located behind the hotel), we had no problem with parking coming to the hotel on late Friday evening.

Very friendly and helpful staff, switched my room to suit my length regarding the bed! Nice swimming pool with very good showers. Half board included a 6-course diner and an excellent breakfast! They also will mail your postcards for you. I was here as a stopover, and was actually sorry to leave. Would have liked to stay longer. The bed was very good.

Nice town with plenty of of restaurants, plenty of of shops, the only downside is that there are a lot of very drunk young people staggering around quite early in the evening, probably to many lively bars.

The house is perfectly located fir skiers as it is at the route of G1 skibus so it ics convenient to get to the rwo cable cars: Moslbahn or Horbergbahn. Hippach is a small but nice village with a couple of stores and pretty buildings. We haven’t explored it too much as our time was dedicated to skiing.

For the whole valley there is a card called Active.

For the whole valley there is a card called Active. We spent 100 euro for 6 days and you can use it for travelling with the train till Mayrhofen and for using the cabin cable spread in the valley. This is very suggested.

no good restaurants, in the town on the other side of river...

no good restaurants, in the town on the other side of river was outdoor pool, playgrounds for kids and sport center. good staring point if you want to ride bike in alps. good bus and train connection. Ramsau is between right in the middle between Zillertal Arena and Mayrhofen. so good place to stay and sleep but you need to travel by car or bike to turistic places

Brandberg is a delightful farming hamlet high in the Alps. It is so peaceful, surrounded by flower speckled meadows, cool woodland and, of course, the panorama of mountains. But access to Mayrhofen is easy by car, bus or footpath.

Mayrhofen has more going on than the other towns in the area, it's the largest one with the most food options and events happening. It's close to the mountains with great views and a good base for any adventures!

I was in Brandberg to snowboard in the Zillertal. The distance between Brandberg and the Zillertal was oké. Special about the appartment was a woodstove and the presence of sharp knifes in the kitchen! I loved it. The hosts were very friendly and helpfull.

The perfect Zillertal base — charming, active, and full of alpine character. Mayrhofen is a gem in the heart of the Zillertal Alps — both lively and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. My favorite spot in town was the central square with the iconic ibex statue and the beautiful alpine church, perfect for soaking in the mountain vibe. I enjoyed traditional Tyrolean meals at local guesthouses, and the hut-style restaurants in the surrounding mountains are worth the hike. Breakfast at my hotel was exceptional, and the Zillertal beer is a must-try after a long day outdoors. Getting around is easy — everything in town is walkable, and the Zillertalbahn train makes exploring the valley simple. For solo travelers like me, Mayrhofen is ideal: scenic hiking trails start right from town, there’s an excellent pool & spa complex (Erlebnisbad), and plenty of cafés and beer gardens to meet people or just relax. Whether you’re here for a few days or as a base for adventures like the Berliner Höhenweg, Mayrhofen delivers both comfort and authentic alpine atmosphere.
