Beautiful hotel. We only stayed one night as we were meeting up with my brother and his wife who had been there a couple of days with my elderly mother. My mother had an accessible room which was great for her. Wonderful service from a range of delightful staff. The dinner is the restaurant was fabulous. Not a cheap experience but an exceptional experience.

The personal touch to welcome the guests, the personalised service at breakfast, the tastful and detailed decor of the whole place to create a warm and elegant ambience, it reminds one of the time of Raffles hotel in Singapore. Breakfast was personally served by David, who was the chef and housekeeper, keeping the whole guesthouse (a heritage building) clean! Tim, the owner was just as welcoming, showing us the property and gardens. If you like a clean, quiet, and homely place, look no further. Even the garden grounds are very tastefully done up. There's also a cottage for families and the king bedroom, which are very tastefully decorated by Lucy, Tim's wife, who has a keen eye for details!
