The accomodation was really clean, airy and roomy, well designed with its minimal aesthetics but intentional amenities (high powered hairdryer, quality toiletries, robes for each guest regardless of additional person, dust free extra bedding) and well stocked fridge with a large selection of drinks. Fusion Asian food at the restaurant was also amazing, would highly recommend lunch/dinner there.

The hotel was conveniently located near some restaurants, and bakeries which were great for dinners and breakfast. Hotel staff were also extremely friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay :)

The old vintage & cottagey feel of the unit. The breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful & attentive. We were very appreciative of the staff who came in the rain to help us with one of the blinds which got stucked. We had enjoyed our 3 nights stay in Ironbark cottage very much.

we stayed with our 2 year old and my in-laws in a 3 bedroom lodge. we loved the lodge style, the space, beautiful grounds with a playground, a lake to have bbqs next to and goats and rabbits! 5 minutes drive to Healesville township.

Good scenic view, ordinary food, breakfast buffet and restaurant, no towels in pool area, requested for one but the staff refused to provide, that's disappointing . I have been to many hotels in all over the world and its the first time couldn't get a towel after a swim

Easy to find places of interest and especially great golf courses, but some were overpriced but that is a reflection of the demand. The driving habits of locals on the narrow roads is concerning. Speed limits and good road manners seem to not apply to locals so visitors beware.
Other advice is be wary of the BOM, rain and other forecasts associated with the BOM could spoil your plans so best to ignore them and get on with it. The BOM is best taken with a grain of salt ..it’s either your standing in the rain and BOM says it sunny or it’s sunny and they forecast rain.

A very small town, lovely to walk along the upper Yarra...
A very small town, lovely to walk along the upper Yarra River however there is not much to do in the main town. The Alpine Hotel was very nice to stop in for a drink. We stopped by Warburton because of the red-wood forests and some nice trails and scenery.

We liked the rural aspect of the town.
We liked the rural aspect of the town. As we came for a private function, we didn't have any time to explore the local attractions. As we have been there before we have seen some of the area. I particularly liked travelling up Mt Dandenong to Olinda for the eateries and the gift shops. We found that we needed a car to get around.

It is a beautiful place, very small, so it is perfect for a short peaceful vacation. The only thing I have to mention is that the food in general (appart from Peppers hotel) is not very good, and expensive.

View into the valley is nice but a little different from the advertised pic. Would have been good for a walk except it was cold and wet during our stay. Wood fire was very much appreciated on a cold night but you might need to let the manager know what you /he expects in terms of wood & cleaning. Lovely comfy bed. Compact bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped & living space is roomy. They are in need of a good solid couch or arm chairs. Owners dogs barked a little but not for long.

I booked a stay for Saturday night but never received the access code to collect my room key. Despite calling and messaging the after-hours number multiple times, no one responded, so I couldn’t access the room and had no option but to drive home a best friend's wedding.
When I followed up, the manager confirmed a refund but ended the call when I asked about the timeframe. Very disappointing experience overall!
I’m still waiting for my refund and would not recommend staying here.

Our room was perfect, the bed was wonderful, even my husband who is a poor sleeper, slept well, the shower was fantastic and the patio was a delightful surprise complete with a pond and wildlife to help unwind and relax. The rooms are stage in a way that you feel like you are on your own but if you had children, there was space for them to burn energy and be cooped in a room. Dinner in the bistro was just normal food, not special but good and the staff everywhere were friendly and smiled, i appreciated the smiles. a few miles up the road was the township of Mt Evelyn where wee found yummy bakeries and shops to explore and nearby nursuries often had breakfasts. You need to stay here.

The breakfast was amazing - such a choice in the provisions that were supplied! Cooking facilities meant we could cook the bacon and eggs; croissants were humungous and very fresh! Yummy!!
Although it was a cold night outside, the studio was very cosy - heating worked well and electric blanket warmed up the very comfy bed.
The location was very peaceful.

Beautiful area, great food, interesting shops with lots of local artisans, lovely walks in gardens and forest.
We spent most of our time in Olinda. You definitely benefit from having a car here. We had the most amazing meal at Citrine.
