Situated in small village, quiet, located centrally to visit Bruxelles, Anvers, Brugges, sea,, Gand, and south Netherlands. Great qualitative renovation job of an old station in a modern, industrial, technical and eco-friendly way. Owners friendly. Practical, cosy and big shared kitchen and living room (in addition to kitchen corner in room). Delicious smells in the whole building. sink, fridge, dishes, microwave in the room. Big bathroom, big shower, soap, shampoo, ... Individual confortable beds (can work for double or twin), we had a 3-bed room (there's only one like this) Dishes and drinks available from vending machine. Breakfast upon request (not tested) You can walk to the village center (butcher, bakery, hairdresser...)

The stay in the Boutique Hotel Shamon was wonderful. It is an excellent stop for excursions to Brugge, Gent and Antwerpen. The owner are very friendly and one feels that the hotel is very precious for them. The breakfast is excellent. Also the rooms are well equipped. We have enjoyed it very much!

Hotel Orchidee is situated in the centre of Aalter. They provide modern rooms with a buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the building.

The food, the decor, the ambiance, the service. It was one of the highlights of our trip and a treat to stay here at Ter Heide. I would come back.

Very welcoming host. He could not have been more helpful. Loved the hot tub. Just what the doctor orders at this point in our holiday. We used the stop as a launch for our visit to Ghent. It worked well for that. The host and hot tub would see me stay again if life beings me this way. Room and en-suite was upstairs. Good tea and coffee facilities even a pack of M&Ms to welcome us. Typical good BnB. We did not take up the breakfast offer. Sounded good but not in our plan.
